You questioned his very motives for writing about topical issues and slandered him by claiming that he was doing it to get commercial exposure. I was able to simply build a handful of full HQs (to build funds in the beginning), and then use their profits to run ads continuously, with each successive ad increasing my income. I only noticed in the last turn so couldn't check it, but does that mean that I was earning money from TV ads? Is that a bug, or was it intended?
He accepts the criticism, ie that he's arrogant, not that he's wrong. Those are two completely different things. There's no lie in what he says.
Assuming of course that the opposition will do something different or change the laws if they are elected. Unfortunately this is rarely the case. Voting is more or less meaningless in most places.
