If the post you're talking about is the one I commented on in Brad's Fahrenheit 911 thread, then I can understand why it was deleted. You questioned his very motives for writing about topical issues and slandered him by claiming that he was doing it to get commercial exposure. I see no reason for personal attacks to be left alone simply because they're attached to something that might be relevent.

Your statement that throwing stones isn't perticulary dangerous is saying that there is an acceptable level of violence, as long as no one get to hurt, which they do anyway I didn't say that it was acceptable, merely that it is probable and only to be expected. To not expect a reaction to military occu

a) Talking about a specific subject you know will get hits due to its nature - possily raising awareness for commercial aspects (ie. stardock). This is ridiculous, and you should know it. Everyone who's anyone is discussing Moore's new film - should Mr Wardell be denied this because he makes computer g

Our soldiers in East Timor never used bulldozers on civilian housing (whether occupied or not), or drove tanks through suburban stree

The Sarin gas was ancient and decayed beyond the level of usefulness, as evidenced by the fact that those who i

I couldn't find the quote "vote Kerry" in David's blog, BakerStreet. Can you please explain why you feel that the upcoming election has significance in regards to current spending?

There's compulsory voting in Australia and this tends to lead to very disappointing election results. The way I see it voting should be a responsibility, not a right. Before anyone should be able to vote (the current electorates included) they should be forced to pass classes in the political system and be able to state when asked the political ideology of those parties that got over 5% of the vote. Anybody who can't do this is too stupid to underst

Interesting article that you link to. Although I support Moore's work as a satirical writer (some of the things he says/does are hilarious, particularly when he picks on hapless corporate executives), it appears a significant part of his actual argument is based on circumstance and concealed truths. It's always disheartening to know that the icons of the left are

The simple fact of the matter is that the US cannot lose in Iraq. They have considerable superiority in numbers, equipment and training, and the political will to use fire-bombing or massive conventional weaponry on civilian targets. If Bush wins the next election (and probably if Kerry does as well) there will be no withdrawal, only an increase in the ability of the US to inflict greater damage. The US needs Iraq to stay under their control

The attacks of 9/11, which were planned during the Clinton years, demonstrate to clear thinking Americans that there is no foreign policy that would satisfy these maniacs. As you no doubt remember, Osama planned the previous and unsuccessful truckbombing of the WTC in 96, for which cruise missiles were

Try boosting experience to max, Charisma to max, money to max, stamina to max and then distributing the points as you see fit. I recommend avoiding interviews completely, and putting Intelligence to 0. In the current beta there's an easily exploitable bug/feature (noone's got back to me yet). Build enough 3rd-level and first level HQs to earn around 340-500 thousand a week. If you have spare sta

I've got drengin.net so all I had to do was turn on the "show pre-release" option and it appeared for downloading. It probably won't be there for you until you've made the pre-order. Have you tried phoning them?

Moore makes me sick! How he can pity Saddam is beyond me. That's all I have to say There was a certain man who pitied the Romans when they tortured him... forgiveness and pity for your enemies are noble emotions. <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%" align=center bgColor=#FFF394 class="mb-Body-Quote

I have to say that the world doesn't like America. A single (probably white, as he/she has access to a computer) South African does not a world make. Most of those I've met in my travels over the past year have no love for Bush, and think of him in much the same way as people think of the mafia - he's violent, dangerous, above nearly any legal attack and aggressive. He has radicalised opinion amongst moderates, and made the role of the US in the wor

I've checked this, and I've found that it is a very good money-earner. I was able to simply build a handful of full HQs (to build funds in the beginning), and then use their profits to run ads continuously, with each successive ad increasing my income. Extra webmasters just increased the profit from the ads. By the last turn I was earning nearly 2 million dollars a week. It makes winning every state very easy, especially with full stamina and chari

I put two webmasters in the one state, which I used to place all my ads. Instead of simply reducing the cost to zero, they were costing me -15,000 dollars a week. I only noticed in the last turn so couldn't check it, but does that mean that I was earning money from TV ads? Is that a bug, or was it intended?

He accepts the criticism, ie that he's arrogant, not that he's wrong. Those are two completely different things. There's no lie in what he says.

Assuming of course that the opposition will do something different or change the laws if they are elected. Unfortunately this is rarely the case. Voting is more or less meaningless in most places.
