Well said, but I believe that you get all types here from the verbal punchup (which soon gets boring) to the reasoned arguments from both sides....and every so often you do get someone conceding a point very rare. I agree with Sherye, many people get very emotional in their arguments. Valleyboy, I started writing the article but then realised that I had never documented, for myself, the particular journey I want to write about and I would like to do that before I forget it completely. Valleyboy, It proved to be very long and it was only the first part but I realised after I started that I wanted to do it for myself. I have just heard that the shell in question was left over from the Iran/Iraq war i.e. back from the 1980's so it still is no evidence of a WMD program as claimed before the war. Saint Ying, I think Bush et al are a bit more cautious these days. The administration got badly burned by the two 'mobile WMD factories' which turned out to just produce hydrogen for weather balloons. I think they are a bit more wary these days. One shell, as you say, is meaningless particularly after 13 months of searching. We shall see what else turns up.

Greywar I guess I was just wondering if the story I heard ( and the story itself mentioned the Sydney olympics performance by the 100 metres relay team) and the Washington Times story had the same source information but came out with different interpretations. I don't think anyone believes that any athlete from any country who wins cannot show love of country. I would be disappointed if the US is expected to behave differently from anyone else.
