Firstly, I agree that smoking should not be allowed in bars. I go to bars for its social setting. In fact, I think alcohol should be banned from bars as well. Secondly, smoking while driving can distract a driver, but so can talking while driving, listening to music while driving, sneezing while driving, etc.

I'll admit that I tend to be a fence-sitter on this issue, mostly because I don't particularly care either way. I think this is also the feeling of the general public, but that's probably jsut because most people are Christian. Sorry for the double post, but I remembered something else. I remember reading an article once (although I don't remember who wrote it) about how there may have been a flood in the area. It was a smaller flood than in the Bible (it didn't cover the whole world) and I think maybe at a different time in history of something, I can't really remember, but perhaps this is where the story came from. I second that. Well, most of it. I don't really rely on the Old Testament for a completely accurate depiction of history. Its more of a collection of stories with lessons and a history of the Jewish/Christian religion before Jesus came.
