Are we talking about catelogues that come in plastic with your name and address on them? Like Myer or Ikea or David Jones? Because a no-junk mail sticker wouldn't work with those - if something has your address on it it has to be delivered - even if it's got your neighbours name on it (like last week was my neighbours birthday and I kept getting cards and packages with her name and my address) But if it's just the routine junk that every

Featured - congrats my friend, I still (I read this yesterday) can't figure out if you're kidding about Hotel Sudan or not though - I think you are... OH and I hope you don't mind but a couple of your fans asked for an autograph and I gave them your email address - They're nice fans - trust me.

Fabulous. btw I'm jealous - I have the renovation/moving bug I want to buy a house and decorate -- Plus Byron Bay is really pretty (although I've never been there my best friend holidayed in Lennox Head every Christmas for years) I'm such a dork - I said fabulous twice

The only Fuel song I know (and I like it) is Shimmer - that I know of I mean its possible I've heard and liked others and didn't know it But Shimmer is a good song imo. btw - I love Garbage I read your review and I read your jlo one and I had no comment because I don't like her.

2005? Are you sure? One of the Australian Idol's (Marty Warrell) last year covered this song as their Wildcard performance - it was right around the time that Somewhere Only We Know was in the charts here so a few people recognised it - mostly fans. It was a really great cover actually. It is a great song though

There were pretty peanuts?!?!?! - I think you're talking about Sally (Charlie Brown's sister) Lucy wasn't a cow -she was a realist. She's misunderstood Elana alternates between Linus (blanket) and Schroder (piano) -- The Schroader moments drive me crazy because she's got a defective piano - it plays when there's no body in the room and sometimes the wrong instrument plays - like you press the guitar button and the castanets play --

I read this and then decided to go back and see what number I was up to - 205 it totally passed me by I have no idea what was article 100, 150 or 200 (although I guess 200 should be easier to find unless it's private) I disagree with Shaun - it's probably pretty easy to write 100 crap articles and have nothing of substance. I wrote at least 150 Think about the way people use t

Elana has started doing this really odd thing, I think I've mentioned how she goes up to her bedroom and comes back with her dummy. If I haven't she has this habit of kinda stopping whatever it was she was doing like a light bulb has gone off in her head and she's like "oh someting missing" she stops what she's doing and runs up to her bedroom (or the hallway/

Me too. HATED it!! I first saw in in English or some other class that was held in my english room - may have been maths - either way I wasn't pay attention - it was a stupid movie. I LOVED Elizabeth - even the gory bits - I'm sure I would have loved it no matter who was in it because it was a good movie but Cate's performance was outstanding. I just don't get how she lost. Something I'd forgotten though was the other actors

*sigh* JU is as fun or non fun as you make it. You can choose to get caught up in the drama and politics or you can stay on your blog and that of a few others and be completely oblivious and a friend to all. (or none) I've watched the drama unfold for months now - only getting involved on 3 occasions the madpoet regan/aids thing and two of the conf

In short I said that I believe Denzel Washington was the first Afrian-American to win a Best Actor gong. That this year there were 4 African Americans with 5 nominations (Foxx with 2) that in itself is a record but not only that Morgan Freeman won the Best Supporting Actor and Foxx took the Best Actor (2nd ever) Thats 2 gongs in one night. It's against the norm for a non caucasian or Non American to win in the top 5 categories (Actor/Actress/Director). Italians al

I know it was really hard not to think rascism (cause cates not a yank )- but you can't begrudge Dame Judy her oscar because she's fantastic in everything she's in too. She and Maggie Smith = wonderful.

Wow - Oscars.com Foxx and Swank I couldn't make a prediction for Best Movie - I really just don't know - I have about 5 minutes to get one in before they announce it I reckon. But I still really don't know.

Arh predictiong *sigh* I'd like that woman who played Vera Drake to win - she won the BAFTA , Annette Benning losing to Swank again would probably suck but I think it will happen. I think Foxx will win out over Leo but I don't care either way - and I think if Don Cheadle won it wouldn't be a bad thing either. "It's an honour just to be nominated"

There was a news break a few minutes ago just before Oprah started talking about Cate Blanchett's Oscar win. About Time!!! We'll get the telecast of the Oscars tonight at 8:30pm but for those who care - she won. It's not a vindication for the other times she was nominated and missed out - especially when she was beat out in 1999 by Gweneth Paltrow.

I LOVE most of those songs! Just a few - Canon was what I walked down the aisle too (1 violin) Name is one of the first songs my husband and I call "ours" the rest (of the ones I love) are just great You are so Beautiful is what my husband sings to me The songs closest to my heart would be Edwin McCain I'll Be (husband) and Eric Clapton's Tears in Heaven (daughter) Some very Beautiful songs in that list

I agree - Leave the Light on is really good. I haven't seen Suddenly 30 yet I always meant to but never happened, I haven't seen anything But I LOVE Leave a Light On it just reminds me of being a kid loving that song. And Heaven... reminds me of Romy & Michelle's Highschool Reunion mostly. I can never decide what my favourite is - it changes depending on when I

"Summer Rain" is one of Carlisle's least well-known hits Not here it's not. Summer Rain was probably my favourite Belinda Carlise song but it was close - I loved leave the light on and heaven is a place on earth. Summer Rain is played ALOT on the radio stations here (Aus) especially since Slinky Minx d
