In SDC, Right-click on any of the Message Board buttons and select "Reset List" from the menu this will update the message board and place all sticky threads at the top

I don't think that there is an Autohide on Sysmetrix, I've been using it for sometime now and have never found anything like that option (also no "Always On Top")

What you are saying is that the Bootskin program works but that you cannot run WindowBlinds which is a seperate program, see below Bootskin = Loads and only loads a Bootup Skin the one with the progress bar. WindowsBlinds = A program that changes the look on the windows by skinning them. Firstly Delete the file you installed from ThemeXP, then copy the ntoskrnl.exe that you originally saved elsewhere to the same place on the hard-drive and then reboot, it should work.

It sounds like you have the wrong disks, DOS boot is only one disk and should boot your computer in DOS mode with CD support, if it does not then look for another on the net
I do believe that what you are after may not be possible :/

I don't know who recommended ThemeXP to you, but I would suggest you ignore them in future, Stardock has been around a lot longer and are in my opinion much more professional, it has taken them a while to get around to bootskins, but at least they have done it the correct way. Most of the files at ThemeXP actually hack the system, and as such cannot really be the safest, stick to Stardock. <
