We actually have 3 threads.. this one, ANZACS bridging the Ditch and the ANZAC Republic the main thread however now will be The Anzac Republic however this one will remain actice as the A.S.S. is still our HQ
on the other hand once theme based empires have recruits its harder to loose them. However with Localaty groups it easier to get new recruits (suposidly) but harder to keep them. One Big thing that i've found is that new recruits can be drawn in with the use of eye candy.. IE: if your logo catches their interest then your over 1/2 the way to getting them as a recruit. Then you have to keep them.. and as Ray has Suggested Charactorization of overlords is a great way to
the merger was supposed to be complete ie: that the Australian Republicans fold their empire.. i'm not happy Jan... (sorry an Australian Joke from an advert where someone doesn't get thrie add in the yellow pages business phone directory) Guess we'll just have to wait and see if Rainbird honours the merger or not.
hmmm.. looks like there is a bug in the metaverse.. there is only 1 person (Rainbird) left in the Australian Republic but its showing that they have got 2 overlords in the empire totals

Maso players are now rewarded enough in the extension pack.. the difference is now quite vast.. over 30k / game as opposed to 16k I do believe thats merit enough

It is amazing just how much the logo's do influence ppl to join,stay, or leave.. The best responce i've had so far is when i changed it to the ship.. even though it has nothing to do with ANZAC in and manner or form.. perple like eye candy. the eye candy draws them in and then its up to the overlords in the empire to try to keep interest up in the empire.. any empire...
It has been a slow process of getting new overlords but we are getting there.. if you notice we have also weeded out the players that have a zero score and have been listed in the empire for more than 30 days.. I duno if that changes anything in the metaverse. Out map hasn't changed 1 bit since I signed up with the ANZACs .. my guess for this is because it didn't shrink when we had that major exidous (defections .. LOL ) from the empire. I can't get anything out of stardock about this.. I heard
if Gross or POSS design a good flag.. I'll let them use the ship if they so desire.. Many hours work went into it!!!
Rainbird hasn't signed up yet.. but according to Never Never, Rainbird agreed to the merger as well So i think thats its only a matter of time till Rainbird gets online and signs in.. The only one that has actually joined up so far is Never Never. My guess is that they are waiting to see if there old emperor sign up first. Gets treated with respect and welcomed in a manner befitting his X station

Hi, It gives me great pleasure to Announce that the reconciliation and merger of the ANZACs and The Australian Republic is now Complete, NeverNever has signed all the merger Documentation and it has been Accepted by all those in the Australian Republic. The Documentation Signing was witnesed by many other Citizens of the Metaverse. It's like a who's who of the metaverse here tonight. We still havn't decided on a flag but we are sure that we will come to a solution soon
and besides i've already stated that I'll change the name over as soon as 2 (out of the 3) Republicans sign up.. I can't be any fairer than that.. I'm not going to change our name then have it all fall through.
I'm actually waiting on Never Never.. he has contacted all the others (2) in his empire.. and he has stated that he'll get back to me tonight... OK... now you all know... (I liked myv story explinations better don't you)
if i remember rightly I had to install sdc as GalCiv i think uses some files from it.. then i restored from my backup i'd made through sdc.. and everything worked fine
We can't seem to come to terms about the flag.. Also One of the Australian republic is yet to respond. Also waiting for the emperor to sign the document and disband his empire and join up.. once all these things have taken place the celebrations will begin.. Diplomacy is very time consuming and tiring. Thwart with danger .. one wrong word and its back to square one.. or even worse all out war
