Arfff, (double post). Edit: Another solution > Don't update MyColors to latest build... ;p
Anyone else see this? What gives?
Same problem with 2 computers under Vista. Temp solution: 1. WindowBlinds already installed (6.09g[b].135) 2. Unload WindowBlinds or use Aero skin 3. Update MyColors (> 2.01.193) 3. Reboot 4. Rename WindowBlinds folder to WindowBlinds.back (C:\Users\Public\Documents\Stardock) 5. Uninstall WindowBlinds 6. Reboot 7. Open Command prompt (Run as Admin...) 8. sc delete WindowBlinds 9. Install WindowB
The problem is back > Object Desktop Premium Suites is not listed under Impulse.
However, the Apogee upgrade will not be free since it required a major overhaul to Vistafy it (remember the way the folders faced?)
No problemo, I'm ready to buy this upgrade. :D
Yes, it as a bug, the problem is a problematic options: 'Vista-ize me' and 'Only blur the background if the skin has blur enabled'. WindowBlinds 6.09g[b].135 = buggy as hell: - Vista-ize me > Off (Reset default) - Only blur the background if the skin has blur enabled > On Result: - Vista-ize me > Off (Reset default) - Never blur the background even if the skin has blur enabled
Ahh excellent! I'm not alone with this bug. Now, I have problem with some skins with or without Vista-ize me activated. Uninstalled, rebooted, reinstalled, same problem with WindowBlinds 6.09g[b].135 only. Lag problem with CursorFX is gone after this reinstallation. Thank ALMonty for these replies!
Try this > Open WindowBlinds configuration panel and click on 'Vista-ize me' (Transparency & Blur) and click 'Apply changes' with this same skin (Buzzz).
Hummm, strange. Thank for the screenshot. I will reinstall this build.
No problem here. Kinda hard to see when you have it against a dark background.
Windows XP or Windows Vista? (WindowBlinds 6.09g[b].135 with Windows XP doesn't have this problem) Buzzz wB > [link="http://img394.imageshack.us/img394/285/wbbogus5badscreennx4.jpg"]http://img394.imageshack.us/img394/285/wbbogus5badscreennx4.jpg[/link]
Wow, no one has this problem. Fantastic! :NOTSURE:
Same problem with latest build > [link="https://forums.wincustomize.com/306368"]Border shadow problem[/link]
Hi, Do you have a problematic shadow border with latest build of WindowBlinds 6.09g[b].135? Screenshot before the update (no shadow border problem) > http://img383.imageshack.us/img383/9430/wbbogusokscreenpg5.jpg After > http://img171.imageshack.us/img171/5640/wbbogus2badscreenym4.jpg <A href="http://img
but no update link, just a run button
Same problem. + Preferences > checkBox1 >> Euh, What is it?

I am however wondering if in this window the preview is supposed to be the default windows theme or the currently applied windowblind skin.
Otherwise, my question to the community is have you, Vista users, updated to SP1 yet?
Yes, installed on 2 computers, all works fine without problem. No real difference before and after the installation of this SP1 on these computers except this new "error log" located on Event viewer (known issue):
Unable to initialize the security package Kerberos for server side authentication. The data field contains the error number.
Same problem, Object Desktop Premium Skins is not listed under Impulse.
Updated ObjectDock+ via Impulse and all seems to works fine except for this:
Manually updating the serial number in Impluse seems to fix the trouble. Make sure that you don't have the old format ODP-XXXXX.... serial number. If you do please go to Stardock.com/support and enter in your email address there. After that is confirmed the system will forward you a updated account of all your account info.
Yes, work fine but if you close and re-open Impulse, the old key/serial nu
History, Archive need to be added.
+1
Installed, updated many applications (ObjectDock+, CursorFX+,...) and all seems to works fine withtout any problem with Vista Ultimate 32-bits. Impulse > Very clean interface and very nice icon!
This obviously worried me, because I don't want to spend the $20 on a piece of software that will not work with SP1. If anyone can offer me help here, I would greatly appreciate it.
Latest beta build of WindowBlind work fine without any problem with Windows Vista SP1 32-bits (UAC strict mode activated). :)
