HW, gee whiz, when you get a chance, write a book. It would be pretty interesting read. I can't believe you let your DM have it...he deserved it and much more!!

The people here know that they are risking getting shot or blown up if they come to vote, but they do it anyway, hoping for a change, and voice in that change. We in the states have no excuse. So I'll put up with the headache I've got from listening to explosions all day, because I know that this may be one of the last ti
HELLO! You made me smile. This is really beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
Wow, that's really wonderful news! It's great to realize a dream isn't it? May you have many wonderful sunny days riding on your beauties.
Peter, i wondered where you were. I know you had your brother back. That's great BTW, I didn't get the chance to comment on that blog. Anyway, to your declining ways....(gosh, I'm full of puns today)...only worry when you can't even put word to paper, which you just did! I actually thought of penning a poem entitled, "Where have all the bloggers gone?" I thought about it yesterday, haven't gotten around to it yet. But there are a lot o
This is especially for Cordelia and M-Post who tried to answer the question: Link The answer is Post It. Sorry guys, I almost left you hanging and that would have been a sticky mess! (get it?) Ok, so I suck at telling jokes. Ah well, guess I better not po
Wayne, Alison, thank you. It is true that not many people like to discuss God or his kingdom. Religion, like politics is such a taboo subject by so many and the few that do discuss it might end up saying hateful things to each other. It's unfortunate that this is one topic that there seems to be no way to just meet half way and hear each others views without chomping at the bit - to coin a phrase. I wrote it because of how I felt at the time, and
More power to ya NickyG! I know moving, changing jobs (finding a new career path) is such a big step, you're going to change your life and it will not be an easy thing to do. Good luck with whatever new things you decide to do.
Life, your little one is so adorable. Isn't it great when they let you convince (or bribe) them into doing something they really like so as to distract them and let you get "your" way? Keep on having fun.
Just being on a regular-sized plane is a feat in itself. It’s also very unnerving, because of a lack of space. I do hate the wait time, plus, now if you get to the airport an hour before is not enough time anymore, at least where I live it isn’t. They won’t let you board even if there is time. The plane sits for 45 minutes on the runway before taking off. So leaving at the scheduled time rarely happens. It does concern me greatly the air quality
Zoomba is correct, don't force her to eat, just put the food away and when she's hungry she'll let you know. Believe it or not, although I've two older children, 15 and 10, my experience with my now 3 year old made me feel as if I was a first time mom! Everything went out the window with her. She did everything differently and still does. Her appetite was just as unpredictable. I'm the one who ended up in tears most of the times because I felt wit
Naw...you're not a mad man. I've enjoyed reading your articles and commented on a few. It might be long at times, but always very interesting. Sometimes I don't leave a comment because, like the one I read yesterday, I wanted to comment, but it seem to me for all your friends, so I didnt' make a comment. But I did find it interesting and you always have something good to say. You're a very good writer and very inisightful too. So, don't stop writi
Someone sent me an email with this job description for mothers. I thought it was funny but a fitting description. Perhaps some of us wouldn't have accepted it if we had the responsibilities spelt out to us beforehand! Lol! However, despite the trials and sometimes being unappreciated, it's the best job in the world! Here's to all you moms out there!
They're to busy having fun and hanging out. That should read, "They're too busy having fun and hanging out." Typo - and no edit button.
If only the kids in high school realized how important spelling is. I'm always stressing this to my two oldest. Reading is especially important. Read everything you can get your hands on because it helps to build your vocabulary. A lot of kids these days don't think this is important. They're to busy having fun and hanging out.
Hiya Grins. Good to know u r ok. Nice of u Danny.
Thanks Gideon. I'm getting too old to run now anyway! there should be SOME cohesiveness to it. This is true. It was a very informative article though. Thank you.
Congratulations Island Girl!
I can imagine your frustration in all that you are doing. I know it's very hard in acadamae wherein as you say, it's publish or perish. And if you're not one of the favorites who does research to bring the big money and accolades in, even worse. I hope that you will be able to find yourself again, i.e., find that zest you started out with. It's truly hard to have put so much time, effort and money into studying and have it all be for nothing. Good
This is a good reminder of how to write an article, and reminds me of my English class! But some people blog for the fun and creativity and don't really care about writing style. (Should I duck and cover?!)
The overt condoning of rape in the Pepe Le Pew cartoons I couldn't help but laugh at this one. I remembered watching Pepe Le Pew as a child. I always thought it was funny because here's this skunk who's madly in love with the female cat and running after her, making a fool of himself etc. My older k
Gideon, very refreshing and amusing. Absolutely feels good to laugh at it all. "...realize they're just CARTOONS!" Oh the Humanity of it all - if we could only just go back to the simple things in life again; wake up, laugh, they're only cartoons!!
I'm just reading this post, you wrote it when I went home to bury my mom (that week). I understand and feel your pain. I was planning on getting up extra early just to sit next to my grandmother and talk to her even though she could not talk back. I too wish I could have that day back. The day my
