I couldn't believe this one when I saw it, that congress is buying a Yacht for the President. I don't know the reasons why, can someone tell me, if they know? They've also cut the EPA's (Environmental Protection Agency) budget, I guess to buy the yacht. In the Superfund Program, companies who cause polution usually pays a fee to clean up their own mess, this hasn't

[ I couldn't resist sharing this joke] Buford walked into a doctor's office and the receptionist asked him what he had. Buford said, Shingles. So she wrote down his name, address, medical insurance number and told him to have a seat. Fifteen minutes later a nurse's aid came out and asked Buford what he had. Buford said, Sh
Welcome back. It's always good to have someone or somewhere to vent to.
I say let's just celebrate and stop the rhetoric that's going on. So, Jesus' birthday is not on December 25, at least we're still celebrating Him and we get the time to be with our families. All this is making Christmas not so nice.
The piece that I watched, and I forgot the pharmacist's name, was about a pharmacist when questioned by the journalist doing the story, said that even in a situation of a woman needing the morning after pill due to an emergency, he wouldn't dispense it because it's against his moral beliefs. And the woman who needed the birth control medication, needed it because her doctor said she had to go on it for health reasons to stop her from having another c
I know, they are always the first ones to be all over whatever is there. Now they have a rep, a bad one. There is a raffle, all names are put in a basket, and the one selected gets the first basket, and so on.
Sorry Danny, now I'm clear. I love these stories, I think they definately give an insight into each individual. I used to get the dates wrong too when I first came to the US. Sometimes I still get the spelling of some words mixed up, color - colour; favorite -favourite, but that's a different story for another time.
Guys didn't get to follow up but will tomorrow. I've got to go get the kids. tx for stopping by.
I'm late as this happend while I was away. Been so busy catching up...I'm Donna...good to meet you - all!
I blog about my life. It's an outlet that was there when I needed it and still is - thank God! I also enjoy sharing opinions, ideas, asking questions... I've learned a lot of things and I just love reading other people's blog about their lives, adventures, misadventures, et al.
I hope things work out for you. Take care and god bless.
Wow, really interesting stories you guys. I thought Danny's and Gideon's name were actually their real names. I think each person's name is unique and quite a good fit.
Several years ago a friend of mine, male friend, got ostracized by his family because he chose not to marry someone who they chose for him. He liked the girl but he just couldn't see himself married to her because they didn't love each other. He was born in India and lives in my birth country. It's really sad too because the family wanted nothing to do with him and he didn't see his mother before she died, they actually blamed him for her death. I d
You make some valid points. I also like reading and have commented on some of your stuff, not all though. Blogging is such a curious thing, you get into it, I enjoy doing it and I enjoy reading what other people write, and if I liked the article, I'll comment on it. As for the long and run on comments, I can be guilty of that, sorry. Sometimes I go on and on because i think too much.. like now for example! Let me end here...
Ye Gads, absolutely fantastic! So true, he did good.
Mmm, explains why I've been having trouble with the blog site today. Well, when it rains in NY that's the worst place to be cause it can be miserable. Where in the city are you, midtown, uptown, Javits Center? Just wondering. Glad you're able to get some touring time in.
I was watching a news program the other day, I forgot which news magazine program, (or at least I think it was on tv) and they featured the odd names people call themselves for email purposes. That got me thinking to the moment that I chose my Email name, Foreverserenity. I remembered I was going through a lot at the time, and I wanted some peace of mind, a
I thought I was over with office politics. Yesterday I read Raven's blog about what's going on in her office, and I thought to myself, thank God I don't have to deal with that anymore. Boy, what was I thinking? I totally forgot, that's one thing that never goes away no matter where you work, right? It doesn't matter what kind of office politics, something is alway
Get well soon. Snuggle with a bottle of your favourite something.
Har, har, good food for thought on this thread. The ones that annoys me are those that drive so fast while going in or out of our apartment complex where there are signs posted for them to go 10 mph, and kids are always running in and out and all over. I've had to yell at a few of them too.
You know I've been thinking about that lately and haven't decided yet. The many ways and means are pretty interesting; carbon presurrized into a diamond?! That one gives a lot more food for thought. If I had my way though, and this may be selfish, I would have myself frozen to be waken up in the year 3010 or some year in the future.
I do hope your brother is ok. I found a link that you can find information on how to locate your brother. Link Goodluck!
I'm not sure if you wanted a comment or not. What made me want to respond is the part where you state: "For me to give my feelings fully to him, he has to do the same with me. Make the same commitment, and I don't think he's willing to do that." Your love is so real and so vulnerable and it's a precious thing to hold on to. It's hard when you love someone and you want to give your all to him, yet he's not willing to do the same. And
This experience of yours is interesting to read about from the male point of view. Your experience shaped you and helped you to become the person that you are today. My experience as a teen was not like that, although there were a few attractions and crushes. I'm responding also because I have a 15 year old girl and her dad and I see where we're gonna have to sit with her to reiterate to her about the facts of life. Not that she's being a problem,
Bluedev, I gave you an insightful too because you have quite an interesting article, in my opinion of course. It is sad that in today's society diversity is only looked at through the color of your skin and not mainly, culturally. America is just too focussed on skin color.
