What a great idea...a personal introduction! So nice to meet you! I'm Steve, I live in Israel. I am very much involved in the human rights movements here , working towards the full equality of the Palestinian people. I have a loving family and just became a grandfather two weeks ago to a gorgeous little boy. You are truly an asset to JoeUser Crusaders!! Keep it up

please tell me you understand ....because I feel like I have upset you?! I understand you...and you did not upset me. Yhere is noo disagreement in anything you said. The love we give our children is the love they will give back to the world. It is the most important thing about parenthood.

Why do we continue to inflict such pain on Innocent Children. WE???? It is not us doing this. It is terrorism. Terrorism does not act with logic. They do not care who they hurt in the process of their actions. They do not use reason and are completely devoid of human feelings. A few months ago a young man was shot dead by passing terrorists in a car. This happened just a few blocks from my home. I knew the young man,his name was George. H

YES...we can change the world if we only live the life of a person that wants to. If we lock ourselves away and ignore the problems around us nothing will change. If we are an active part of a community we will influence others in that community. Man is a social creature...he can do wonders. I live in Israel. I just spent 3 days in Palestine as a guest of a family that I love as my own. The purpose of this visit was to be the Godfather of a new bab

Manopeace, I agree with you, but I would add that it is well-past time for those millions to step up. They can't remain powerless, but must demonstrate that they have control over the militant minority. Otherwise they are giving tacit assent to the terrorists. Unfortunately the masses of Palestinian peo

We see today after a double suicide bombing that these people don't want peace. These people??? Obviously those 2 suicide bombers did not want peace, but there are millions of other Palestinians that do.

The grandson of Mahatma Gandhi is presently visiting Israel/Palestine to convince the Palestinians that non-violence is the best road to achieve their aims. I pray that he is successful in his attemps. It worked in India, it worked in the southern states of the U.S.A., it CAN work here as well.

I was there two years ago. It was that trip that made me realize that a mountain is alot more than just a protruberance from the ground, it is a living thing. It was truly one of the most beautiful places I ever visited and I too hope to do it again. Glad you had the same experience.

Peace, I'm not sure where you're going on this, but it seems you're defending the thugs because France is invoking a dress code in their schools that's denies religious freedom, regardless of it provocative potential. You're dealing with kids here, you know. Correct me if I'm wrong. I do not support the

I have to say, though, that Manopeace's unsympathetic diatribe sounds more like "They are getting what's coming." I think it has more to do with tactlessness than callousness in his case. Once again Baker has commented on what I DID NOT SAY. I am opposed to the law...so where do you read that I support

Any law, anywhere, that is aimed at taking away the civil liberties of any group or individual eventually backfires. It was tried in Canada against certain sections of the East Indian community, it was tried in Turkey,as well as other places. It failed all over as it will in France. Religious freedom is an integral RIGHT in the civilized world. To tamper with that right is NOT.

Say "It is so because Moses/Jesus/Mohammed said so" Basically, they all said the same thing, as all have the same roots. As long as no one says emphatically thay "My God is greater than yours", we will be OK. Again, they were all speaking of the same God. Good post Larry... keep em commin! <BR

That's a great idea Gideon. I do consider myself a Peacenick...always did. BUT...most of us in Israel are either Jewish or Muslim, we do not celebrate Christmas. Around the same time however we have Chanukah or Ramadan. There is nothing more in this world I wish for but to see that headline..WAR IS OVER. What a great gift of the season that would be.
