France is the only country I ever visited where I felt totally unwelcome. Upon arrival at the airport in Paris, which they refer to as an "international Airport" there was not a sign in any language other than French. If I hadnt lived in Canada for a number of years I would never know that "sortie" meant exit...and I would probably still be wandering the hallways there looking for a way out. Livining in Jerusalem, all I can say is THANK GOD HE WAS CAUGHT before he was able to kill and maim innocent civilians. This is a nightmare we have to cope with daily. Let us hope and pray this will all be history.

After being told for the fourth or fifth time, " I love you like a brother", by gals that I thought I was in love with as a teenager, I decided that my felings were definitely an infatuation, not love. Love has to be mutual to work and last. I suppose that in rare instances teens can fall in love, but it really has to be between two very special people.
When you start a new life in a new country as many of us did, friends do become family..in every sense of the word.
