just do a search for aero and its your first result, Found it!, my mistake was typing the search phrase in as a single word as it was posted here, "Aero", or infact "Aero World" both work perfectly. Zero.

I recently found this article and thought it was worth sharing here, im sure some of the "AMD Extremests" will take it personally but in the end it really doesn't favor either processor... Enjoy, Zero. Stability Before July 30, 2002, I observed numerous E-Mails from users of AMD products. Almost all of them stemmed from "stability issues." For example, an underpowered power supply or "cheap" components. No o

Speaking words of wisdom? Let it be. Hmmm, Beatles right?...::laughs:: almost fits into the Music thread, but yeah, those three little words are often forgotten by myself and there is *ALOT of wisdom in them. "If you can immediately tell that the candlelight is flame, then the m

I've learned more on my own through trial and error and reading up on things than by talking to any tech support guy. Very true for me as well Webgizmos. In a particular case, concerning a couple friends of mine, who are very new to computing. An issue with their internet connection aro

About the best suggestion I can make about that is to convert the backrounds you have, it takes only a second and you can pretty much convert any BG. If you have a few fav's just open them up in your graffix prog (ie: paint shop pro, photo shop, corel, photo impact..etc..etc)and change the data type to greyscale, set it as wallpaper and enjoy! Zero.

Thanks SD, but you are too kind,(I am my own WORST critic..::laughs: it's rough and dirty, defintely amature in nature and lacks that "professional" flavor that some have a "knack" for producing.. But hey, I had fun making it, and I'll have fun making Ver2, which hopefully turns out a little better. Oh and while im here, "Improvise, Adapt and Overcom

bezdezzez, Bootskin doesnt work for everyone, it has been suggested in quite a few other threads to try all of the available versions offered, there are 3, sometimes one of them will work(not for me, but ah well)It has to do with various BIOS systems as well as XP service packs. Try the other versions and hopefully one will work for you, if not, then unfortunately they will not work for you. Oh yeah, create a *Restore point before inst

I dont know why I try..but here goes.. I don't have the resources to keep up with the jones so to speak, If I did I would buy a 64 bit AMD FX-55 chip. As it is I have tried both Intel and AMD and done a bit of research and found I like AMD better. It works better for me and was cheaper than the Intel equive

::just shakes his head:: Kona, Im sorry.. But are you stoned or just stupid?? Who in their right mind would admit to *being* as I have "outlined" in my addition to this thread, which also is very much in disagreement with someone like yourself? The whole point of this thread is intended to give someone like yourself at least a partial clue! Unfortunately you are beyond saving Kona, you do not listen to reason, and you seem

Are you currently *Also running a normal desktop theme with windowblinds? It seems to me that I experienced that same issue when I had done that very thing. If so, turn off Window Blinds, set your *Theme to Windows Classic, then turn Window Blinds on and choose the blind you want to use.. I hope this helps!, Zero.

All I can add is that I used a Netgear Wireless "B" adapter for a couple years and it was the very same issue with XP SP1, finally,(It worked fine on a win98 machine I had) just before the release of SP2, Netgear decided to release a driver that works with SP1...I can only imagine the issues now with SP2.. I finally tired of it and got rid of it and went to personal DSL and I am happier for it.. Needless to say I am not a big "Netgear" fan now, I

Save your skins in a temp folder. Uninstall the freeware version..REBOOT... install the purchased version...then move the skins in your temp folder into the new wb folder. I didn't even have to go to all that trouble, but it's better safe than sorry and is a good piece of advice if you dont want to
