I plan on becoming a member regardless..but..here goes.. Are you saying that some content that would normally get a higher rating is "Downrated" for the purpose of non-member "Casual visitors" benefit for the purpose of hopefully obtaining membership? I apologize if I misund

If I knew that I would have it myself..No Arapaho, I am sorry, I do not. But yes, as soon as they release the program for general use it will work I am sure of that. I started a thread here concerning the very same thing entitled *Problem with Suites* just in case you want to read up on everything that has transpired in my own investigations. Take Care, Zero

::heavy sighs:: Well Gibb, I am out of solutions, SFC wont work, Restore didnt help, I dont know if you tried Chkdsk yet or not, and probably a recovery installation wont work due to the SP2 installation..Soo looking at all these things I can only ask 1. Have you tried using Chkdsk..if not you may want to give it a shot. 2. Have you tried taking Wizop Paxx advice and reinstalling SP2? as a clarification SP2 should only overwrite

It is very odd..but I gues

Hi there Gibb, I knew there was a reason I havent installed SP2 yet, I just wasnt sure what it was until now! Anyway, Essencay and Lantec are correct, Backup, and before installing software create *restore points. And while we are on the subject of restore points..Have you tried that? using a restore point will return your system to the exact state it was, say perhaps, the day before you installed WB's.. Anyway, to do a restore go to Star

Dont the ratings serve as perhaps an added incentive for some artisits to keep creating? The comments are great way for people to interact with that artisit, a pat on the back, good job..etc..etc.. but we all know that most of the time people tend to DL and there gone, no comment, no thank you..zilch. Some of the skins all the artists have to go by is the rating they have recieved due to that very thing. I am sure some of the newer artists definitely a

As a reflection, The preview of a skin does reveal quite a bit about it, and definitely sways my decision either way about whether or not to indeed download it..But,,unless you actually download it and use it, the fact remains..there is no one you can ultimatley give it any type of fair rating. Zero.

(I just cant help myself..LoL) "I don't get it, either. What is the benefit of drive by ratings?" I think that would be to show appreciation and support for that artisits hard work and effort, while trying to maintain a non biased opinion of it.. As far as not knowing anything about it, I know you definitely know quite a bit about it..::laughs:: you can tell how usable a skin is and most of the mass's can pretty much determin

Hmmmm, Ok..I know I said I would shut-up but..LoL.. Is there no way to run perhaps a "Dual" Rating system? I mean..being judged and rated by the other artists would be definitely more satisfying if your work got high marks, but could there not also be a rating system put forth to the everyday user? maybe for a certain time frame..say..2 weeks after the Skin/? becomes available? and then maybe a combination of these ratings average to become a final rat

Seconds the motion..Even tho I am absolutely nobody here other than a citizen. I have witnessed the exact thing Phoon is talking about and agree 100%..if that means anything at all. I'll shut-up now and let the powers that actually matter concern themselves with the topic..::laughs:: Good Luck Phoon, Zero.

Hey there Richard, First I would like to say that bootscreens are pretty touchy, system wise, and I have had my own personal trials with them..Be careful, otherwise you may find yourself asking a whole bunch more questions upon recovering from a MAJOR bootscreen disaster..LoL I also have never created one, but I do know there is certain criteria they have to meet, it may just be that you havent met all of the necessary criteria. As fa

::nods:: Yes I have, still does not seem to work, but that would make sense if what aufisch says is true,(and I am sure it is) the URLs being incorrect. Apparently though there is an updated version of the program that corrects this..2.19c..Just have to be patient and wait until it is made available for download. Thanks A bunch, Zero.

Hey Kona, Great tip! and something new I personally just learned. I tested it out and it works. Gibb, in the "Run" box on your start menu type CMD, this will open Command.exe, or better known as the DOS Prompt at the prompt type sfc/scannow it will ask you to put your XP installation disk in, then it will proceed to do exactly what Kona says it does. Good Luck, Zero.
