My pedestal. I love it. It has become a very special part of my life. Even though I don't really think about it, I couldn't imagine life without it. My pedestal is perfect. It's comfortable. Roomy enough for me to share with the man of my life. (He likes to put me up here) but, I'm not so high that I am afraid to fall. I'm just high enough t

If you live a good life, and are truly commited to yourself and your beliefs, then you will reach your "heaven" or enlightenment. Whatever you believe in. As long as your religous views don't bother me and mine don't bother you, there should be no problems. You are not going to hell for having different beliefs.

Two other ideas.... 1) Chocolote = dopamine = good feelings = happiness = happy woman puts out =man is happy....doesn't need chocolote.... 2)It's a commercialization that has evolved into a cultural norm that will never be able to be removed due to the power of advertising...

Outside life/death situations, is there ever a need to kill an unborn child when people literally wait years to adopt a baby? Personnally, I don't think so. I cried every month for years when I wasn't pregnant. It took us 3 years to have our first child. Every person who considered an abortion for "birth

This article Link brought to mind an article I wrote before about abortion. When does a baby deserve the right to live? 40 weeks gestation? What if they can be considered "viable" and have a chance for survival at say...26 weeks? I still don't think that anything could personnally make me want to

you are a great writer! I think that if you get the job you will do great. If not, console yourself with the fact you tired and couldn't get over the seniority of the others. Next time, you will have the time in and you will get the job. I personnally am holding out that you will get it.....when do you find out?

You sound like my dad..... "life ain't fair and the sooner you get used to it, the sooner you can move on with your life...." About the kids in school....have you ever noticed that the word they toss around and then ignore is diversity? They want to "celebrate the differences" (ie:homosexuality and ethnic cultures) but if you want to celebrate a different idea...say Christianity or "white" cultures, you are branded a racist and unwilling to

I ended up giving away as many of them as I drank, simply because I knew that some of my colleagues here liked it too, and would enjoy it. This is where I differ from you. You share because you are nice deep down to the core. I am stingy even though I try to be nice. I just think about how each 6 pa

People come into our lives not only for what we can teach them, but what they can teach us. You have learned that compassion is from within...and strengthened yourself....in part because of that man. What a wonderful thing it is that you can post about compassion instead of an angry diatribe.......

I am a yoga instructor. I occasionally teach pilates. I have taken spinning, kickboxing and step classes in my past (before this last pregnancy). What made me think this qualified me to teach a kickboxing class? I have a friend, Amy who teaches15 classes a week. Water, kickboxing, step, pilates, spinning....you name it. She could n't find ANYON

HW played this song for me by Sara Evens and I loved the lyrics..... Remember, Life will never be perfect....and that's okay. If you don't take me to Paris On a lover's getaway It's all right, it's all right If I'd rather wear your t-shirt Than a sexy negligee It's all right, it's all right Every dinner doesn't have to be candlelit It's kinda nice to know that it doesn't have to be (chorus)Perfect B

My parenting philosophy has always revolved around "spend ten times as much time telling your kids what TO do than what NOT to do. They'll find out what NOT to do quick enough on their own". Good advice!
