Texas....good point. but the images of the soldier's caskets can be used to further a political cause. If JK or GWB had used an image in their campaign it would still affect the soldier's families......

The decision to "censor" the images was made out of respect to the families who choose to greive in private. I would much rather have you (or another REAL person) supporting my family than the insincere bragarts who are mugging for cameras. All I have to say is, you are doing a good job. Kids don't need to see their parents providing outragous parties and gifts to show up the neighbors and mortgaging thier house for unnessicary items. Your kids will be more well-rounded, balanced and fiscally responsible if you teach them NOW that you shouldn't waste money or live to excess.
Don't be too hard on him. i made a similar mistake...sneaking up on my husband in Wal-mart. (Innocently trying to surprise him with a hug) and he nearly slammed me into the floor before he realized it was me. Very jumpy people shoudl never be surprised or startled.....

Sorry to hear about the ID induced stress. Just remember...if you are really lucky, you will get it replaced and THEN find the old one. Then you have one for your car (for getting in the gate) and one for your purse! I keep leaving mine in the car (I take it out to go through the gate) and then having to go all the way back because my doctor won't see me if I don't have an ID...and hospital parking sucks.....sigh.
