Actually, I wouldnt be too worried at all. I taught K last year and I had some kids who were at that level and they just blossomed in the middle and towards the end of the year. As far as counting...hmmm, try and see where the teacher wants him to be at the end of the year, that can really put things in perspectives. I agree in that students should be able to choose and dress how they like. I have no problem with most of the stuff worn today but I do agree with the conservative dress code. It still allows a great deal of flexibility and students can still wear mostly what they want outside of revealing clothes and shirts that others might be offended by. Im sick too...been coughing and have junk in my throat (probably lungs) for the past month. Cant afford to go to the doc. Grr.
