Crap! That was me...MarcieHelen!

I use a radio in my classroom to keep me company when I'm working nights and weekends. I REALLY doubt that my puny little radio costs $25 over the course of the school year to run. St. Paul is a big district. I'll give them that much. Maybe if they're worried about such costs they should provide each grade level or department, or floor with some sort of energy-efficient appliances to share. I think in my district this year they're
Warning, big ass pictures below....if you are on dial up.....read this verrrrrrrrry sloooowwwwwwwlllyy Well I took an idea from Marcie and decided to post some pictures of us, so you know who we are...what we look like and all, and to show you a little bit about ourselves...who we are...etc blah blah. Mind you, we dont have any good pictures of us to
grow up, move on, and let it drop. I think you could take your own advice. I'm done with you. Au revoir.
Here is a question. I have no idea about any of the programs you mentioned that you look for, lol. But, are the colleges spitting out grads who have experience in ALL of those programs? Could the reason you arent getting any bites be because the new grads dont have a knowledge in every program you are looking for (meaning, you are looking for knowledge in those x number of programs, but does college XYZ train their grads in use of all of those prog
Good article. But, the question is...would you rather be the a master of one trade, or jack of many? Myself...I know alot about computers, not nearly enough to make a living off of or anything, but enough to help out most anyone that needs help. I can cook fairly well, with the help of a recepie card...cant do it from scratch and with nothing to guide me. If I had the proper tools, I could do most maintenance on our cars and my motorcycle
What they are, are things that are shortcuts or helpful little pieces that hover over your desktop. For me, they are things that you most likely dont really need. All they are, are just GUI pieces that can, in some situations make things easier for you. For example...I (after reading someones blog on here), installed Konfabulator. I havent been able to find anything of actual value from any of the widgets they have. For example, they have a temp g
Brad, Sorry for my last post...not related at all to your thread.
And, this is very off topic, so I won't respond to any other "off topic" discussions on this thread. Yep, figures. Hey, I dont care, Im not going to kiss your ass. I write what I write. If you dont like it, then fine, get over it...dont read and move on. If Im on YOUR blog, then you can blac
That is weird that you are having problems. We have had them for I think a year or more and havent had one issue with them. I got the lawsuit thing too and just passed it up. It sounded like a stupid thing to me anyways, as I think the guy was suing because netflix says unlimited rentals. To me and I think most people that use common sense, you know you get three at a time, and have unlimited rentals each month, meaning no cap, outside of the three
but until SHE posted an article spazzing about it again, lol...man, Id like to say something here, but Id probably get confined as well. Say what you want, as long as you dont disagree with certain people.
Neither was I. Yep, figured youd say that. lol.
...or "stupid" teachers, to hear him tell it Haha (gag)...Thanksgiving already? Damn...I missed it. Karma wasnt talking about me. I personally dont think there are stupid kids.
Actually, I wouldnt be too worried at all. I taught K last year and I had some kids who were at that level and they just blossomed in the middle and towards the end of the year. As far as counting...hmmm, try and see where the teacher wants him to be at the end of the year, that can really put things in perspectives. If he gets report card, see if there are the expectations on there. For each semester, I had to teach to different expectations and
"In an attack ad campaign filled with 1/2 truths, outright lies and smears of the Governor " Not to be sarcastic...but how is that different from any other political ad campaign? The crap is thrown from both directions. And...why are you complaining about the Dems spending 40 million bucks on the entire state when Bloomberg spent like 75-80 million dollars on New York city?
I agree in that students should be able to choose and dress how they like. I have no problem with most of the stuff worn today but I do agree with the conservative dress code. It still allows a great deal of flexibility and students can still wear mostly what they want outside of revealing clothes and shirts that others might be offended by. I think that students should have to wear regular shoes to school. I dont know all the reasons beh
Rainbow Foods After my dads store closed…I think I still had the paper route…Im not totally sure. After I graduated from high school, I moved down to Eagan, MN to go to Brown Institute to get a degree in radio and TV broadcasting. Shortly after I moved down there, I got a job at Rainbow foods, the only place I applied to, as a grocery stock
Im sick too...been coughing and have junk in my throat (probably lungs) for the past month. Cant afford to go to the doc. Grr. Now that I got a full time job...I dont get health coverage as a benefit. I can buy coverage for about 1/3 of my monthly pay which isnt possible; and I cant get Minnesota Care coverage either since Im fully employed. Gotta love that...and bronchitis! My new health insurance - Orange juice!!
Continuing my articles about the jobs I have worked... The Store Towards the end of my paper carrier days...my Dad opened up a ice cream shop in town. A short background on him. He had planned on going into the Diocese to become a Catholic priest. He then changed his mind for some reason or another and went to college to get a deg
Tova, That sucks what happened and I think you are right. Id like to be all buff and say that I would have been the first to jump to defend someone....but I think most people just stand and watch in shock, not believing it is happening. Its not that we want to watch and see others get hurt...its just that is so violent and rare, especially to see it in person....we just freeze and watch. I worked at a grocery store and this custo
Good thread, I dont watch the show myself, but I saw the previews for it and after a while...I just hit mute. It made me uncomfy seeing her act like that. I kept thinking to myself that...that is how some people see Christians and she just seemed so far out of reality that she was taking it to extreme. Coin
So...last week I posted a thread on a situation Im currently in and I ended up talking about some of the jobs I worked about in the past...mainly to show that I do work and do a variety of things. Well that got me to thinking that I could make a series of threads on here on the jobs I have had in the past and where Id like to be in the future. I figured Id
That is not how it goes. all righty...I must have been dilusional sitting through each and every service. Why dont you fill me in? Uh, why dont you check out the Papal S
First, your 20 steps are wrong. Not to say there are not a lot of parts to a Catholic mass, but it is apparent you don't know what they are. Never said they were steps...more the like the procedure they follow. Very structured and very ritualistic. I do know all of the parts of a standard Catholic ma
You have excuses for not selling the bike, you have excuses for not getting another job, you have lots of excuses, but no solutions to your problems. I wasnt making excuses for not getting a job. I was asking a question based on many different things. Its more of a thing where I was asking people what
