Well I hardly write as much as I want. I try to write and then I get stuck or something can't come out right...etc. Actually I've been working on a political thread for about 5 days now on Firefox...I just hope my computer doesnt do one of its "hey...its 3am and I just uploaded and installed new updates, time to restart....now" frenzies. I can't copy and pase from firefox so the window just stays open, lol. Anywho...I figured I should maybe update every now and
Very cool. I would love to get a good camera and become a fabulous photographer. I just have a little point and shoot that always takes fuzzy photos (It is absolutely the camera doing it not operator error - lol). You should share them on flickr. I don't know what kind of flowers those are but I would say that they are some kind of thistle. That is my inexpert opinion.
Thanks...this camera that Im using is a Canon Powershot S31S. It was a...more expensive mod

Well Marcie ended up buying another camera for her self a while back. Since then she has been bit by the photography bug...taking some really cool pics. Well since our old camera was just as good as the day we bought it (and I like it tons better)...I decided to bring it along when we go out on my run on the weekends. So here are some pics I snapped up. I like flowers although I hardly know the names of any of them. They just aren't that prevalant i

Well...I don't post anything hardly anymore. My job is the same every day for the most part, so its hard to post much about that, lol. I have been trying for a few weeks to post something on our battle of the debts and I always give up, or shut the browser down...never actually finish. But lately, I've been getting angry. At our debt. Now, I don't know what others think of Dave Ramsey, but I think whether or not you like him, his viewpoints

Welcome to the real world. Reality and life...is what it is. Not fair. In my time here, I have seen many things, stupid arguments over nothing. Name calling you couldn't believe, continuously bringing stuff up from the past / dead...only to name a small few. Eh. This is what you get. As far as Terms of Service...well thats about as good as a box of poo if you ask anyone around here. As you will spend more time on here, youll notice more
I'm saying they are. Secular humanism is recognized by judges as a religion.
Now you are twisting little stuff to try and make something big. They themselves can't even agree if it is a religion. The courts say so, but when Chrisians try to take secularism out by saying it is a religion, the Humanists themselves say they aren't a religion. How does that work? They get the courts to work in their favor by declaring themselves a religion while the next da
But is not teaching the Big Bang and Evolution attempting to replace Christianity?
This doesnt make sense...so I might be reading it wrong. It seems you are asking if they replace Christianity by teaching Big Bang and Evolution theories. I don't think they are. Mainly because when you replace something you take something and substitute it for something else. They aren't doing that because...they aren't taking it away. It is a scientific the
However, are schools meant to be a source of idealogy or a source of knowledge.
Schools are meant to be ONE of many sources of knowledge. Education does not just pertain to schools. Unfortunately, for many families...the mindset is there that you go to school to learn and then come home to....do whatever. Some of the brightest students I had where the ones where the parents / guardians took charge of their childs education (not the teacher) and made su
Do you have an outside valve? The reason I ask is when my parents moved into their new house they got a big water bill from their old house. It turned out to be some neighborhood kids were using the outside nozzle to fill their water balloons and then they didn't turn it off all the way so water was running non-stop for like a month and a half.
We don't have an outside valve to the house. I went to the trailer today and didn't see any water on the ground or anythin

Lately, I've been more / less possessed by debt. Marcie and I have a bunch of debt between us and together, like many couples out there. Its just that, as time has gone on, I've been getting more mad at our debt, which in a way is a good thing...because I just want to pay our stuff off and get out of debt. I'll write another blog about that some other time. But in the mail today, I got a bill for 200 bucks for water at our trailer. We moved away last September

Well now I had to go and try to find my recipes that I use when I make chili. Right now can only find 1 of three, but I know the others are around here somewhere. I think Chili is whatever one makes of it. I heard a few weeks back that a good chili doesn't have any beans. All that chilis I've ever had have had beans, lol. Some people like it spicey, but then again Im a panzy and can't handle hot stuff. I have three recipes...won't share them h

Well a couple of weeks ago, Marcie and I were at a bookstore and since Im not much of a reader (danged attention span, Im lucky enough to get these blog threads out, lol), I started browsing the store and came across a book on cat breeds. Im not totally knowledgable in the world of cats, especially their breeds. Cleo is a big poofy cat...which I always just tossed into the domestic longhair breed. She is in that, but more specifically I found a section on the lo

I cant remember what our power bill is...mainly because we are usually behind and have two months we need to pay or something, lol. As far as the dishwasher, I think the heated dry is just a time saver...in theory. If the hot water is hot enough, the dishes should be fairly dry within a minute or two of openign the washer door. The extreme heat will sort of zap off the water. Thats how we do it anyways...I just open the door to let the steam out, and the dishes are mo
Yea, Natural Gas is a bite now too - although I am no where near your league. When the previous owners put in a natural gas water heater, I am sure they thought of saving money. But the last fill up was $4/gal. I do not think I am saving any money
A couple of years ago, my mom bought a new furnace as the old one wsa just getting too old...it had been in the house since it was built and that was about 40 years ago (or hmm maybe it was a second furnace, I dunno. Since you are coming up this way, you already mentioned it snowed. Not sure what the roads will be like tomorrow when you get up this way as the WY road crews sucketh...snowed at least 3-4 inches up here in Western WY where we live.
off topic question (I've been wondering): what's it cost to fuel up your truck these days with soaring diesel prices?
Well Hmm, Sounds like you are parked at that truck stop right off the interstate that says Cafe in big black letters? No I was at the TA.
Ahh yes...I've been there a few times although not lately since I can't fuel there. That TA however just remodeled over the past few months...I should zip in and take another looksee.

Well Hmm, Sounds like you are parked at that truck stop right off the interstate that says Cafe in big black letters? I most likely passed you on the road tonight on my way home. You'll probably be on the road by the time I get my load and get on the road tomorrow in the morning, but Ill be headed west again and into Utah. Will give a shout out on the radio as I pass that spot...although with my broadcast range, I dont think youd be able to hear me if you were parked on the

Hi all, About a month ago, i talked to a coworker about my daily drive back home. After I deliver my freight, the way my route is set up, I basically do a Uturn and circle back 220 miles home. I mentioned how boring it was and how XM is getting old...to a point. He mentioned downloading some podcasts, something I hadn't thought of before. So now Im using Marcies MP3 player and use Itunes to download them. So here is what I have so far: *
