It seems to me that anyone who is accused of leaking names of any CIA employee who is not designated to be publicly known, should be investigated. Regardless of which party they belong to. It just so happens that Karl Rove happens to be a republican. I would be all for the same treatment if he was a democrat. You just can't do things like this, especially nowadays. When you out any intelligence operative, you run the risk of endangering anyone

Personally, i have no beef with Judge Roberts. As far as conservative judges go, i've seen worse. Robert Bork comes to mind.... You're right Guy. I think of him as a broken clock... : :

Orrin Hatch is a slimeball. If you lived in his state you might know this. Didn't you spend some time out here Guy? He's a tool of the LDS Church and the Marriott Corporation. Here's an example His company Nature's Sunshine, was at one time one of the largest suppliers of GHB. The date rape drug. Here's another... If he is so moral, why does he stand idlily by while his master Bill Marriott mak

The IRA announced today that they intend to disarm, demilitarize, and join the political process. Link I think the Unionists are a little skeptical, but the IRA has never made statements like this. It will be interesting to see if it goes through. And if it does, will t

Man....That is one ruthless little furball. I hope he doesn't know where you live! I actually adopted a juvenile squirrel who lives behind my house. Now i'm gonna think twice before i go give him his weekly stash of peanuts!

I love my 911. Best car i have ever owned. The Cayenne has been around for a while, but it just doesn't do it for me. The thought of a Porsche station wagon makes my skin crawl. Does Ferrari or Lamborghini make one? HELL NO! Or on the other hand, does Geo make an HP sport's car? Nope!

I agree with Whip on this issue. The anonimity factor is the biggest reason. That and the fact some of the time the aggressors have no valid opinion or counterpoint to fire back at their targets. It's like elementary school sometimes...

Wow. Unfortunately the story is all too common here in the Beehive state. The important thing here is that you have the courage to face it rather than repress it. Keep writing.

Link Porsche is finally trying something new. The have decided to build a four door sedan, and they are calling it the PANAMERA. It looks similar to a 911, but it will have a front mounted engine. (which is nothing new. The 944, 924, & 928 are all front mounted). T

I guess you're right Baker. He is a bit of a nutjob. When he changed the name of Def American Records to American records, he actually had a funeral and buried the word "Def" in Westwood Cemetery in LA. (for those who are interested, go to findagrave.com and do a search for the word "def". I believe it's buried near Marilyn Monroe's tomb.) The Black Crowes thing. I have noooo idea what he was thinking. But, the guy has an ear for music. He h

Howdy folks, Iconoclast's article about the 25th anniversary of Peter Sellars death got me thinking about my favorite movies. Which led me to wonder what my fellow JUsers were into. Here's my list. 1. Dr. Strangelove - Peter Sellars greatest movie 2. Patton - Good old George C. Scott. 3. Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evi

Dr. Strangelove is his tour de force. Simply amazing. My all time favorite flick. Sellars had an amazing run as an actor. Very few film comedians are in his class. I also liked "A Shot In The Dark", "The Party", and "The Mouse That Roared"

JU is all about labels by default. By going after Myr, you slapped a label on him. The righties do it, the lefties do it. It seems to me that a lot of the folks here are here only to do it. I wish i had a buck for everytime a rightie caled me a "Loony Loopy Luddite" when in actuality, i'm a moderate. It's all armchair politicing if you ask me. And I wouldn't go crying about how the lefties are always on the attack against the poor,

That would be appointed and THEN elected terp.......But seriously. I agree that removing a sitting President's portrait from a public school classroom is a load of crap. As long as the teacher in question wasn't inducting the little rugrats into the RNC, i don't understand the logic behind the principal's actions. Just another example of politics screwing up our educ

Also, I forgot to add that the album was produced by Daron Malakian (Guitarist) and legendary producer Rick Rubin (Public Enemy, Slayer, Beastie Boys and founder of Def Jam Records) If there is a producer out in the mainstream that defies the logic of the business and can still sell records...It's Rick.

They sold seven million copies of Toxicity. That gives them a little creative control. When you sell the sizzle, you get some of the bizzle . I agree with you on the subject of Indie produced music. But when a band signs a deal with a major, the producers have a lot of say so in the initial couple of albums. The smart musicians wait for the sales to climb then lower the creative boom. Unless you're Metallica that is. They saw it
