I think he did it, but i have to question the verdict. Not to mention the fact the judge kicked the foreman and one other juror off the jury. My guess is they had cast not guilty votes based on the evidence which was circumstantial at best. I smell an interesting appeal and possibly the firing of the judge. I'm glad they found him guilty. And Jade? I think Hacking will be convicted no problemo. But i doubt they'll g

I ran into a group that recently returned from Iraq at lunch today. They were patients and corpsman from the Bethesda Naval Hospital, which is about a mile down the road from my hotel. I thanked them all and told them about this post in my blog and they liked the idea of free beer! I gave them my card and told them to call me and i would buy a few rounds. <img src="../images/

As a dem, i don't think Hill and Bill is a viable ticket. But then again i dont think hillary could win if Jesus was her running mate. I'm thinking John Edwards or maybe Joe Biden. I hope my guy Wes Clark will take a run at it. A brilliant General and an economics professor to boot. Just what we need nowadays

Well folks it's Veterans Day. The day we pay homage to all who served in defense of our country. A lot of people pay little attention to this holiday, but not me. I come from a military family. My dad was a Marine officer for almost 25 years and served in both Korea and Vietnam. My Grandfather fought in the battle of Saipan in WW II. I never had the opport

This is becoming more common as the war in Iraq continues. My friend Todd was a ranger for 8 years and just finished his inactive ready status, received a letter similar to this. He told them to get bent, through his lawyer. They finally relented and told him it was a "mistake". I guess "mistake" is an alternate term for "backdoor draft".

(sigh) Some of your comments are pretty good folks. But when you fly once a year or less, i have a hard time lending them any credibilty. Especially you hitparade. You make it sound as if Al Qaida has guys in the airports right now. Our nations airports are probably the safest places in the whole country right now. Chip? I'm not trying to change your mind here. Just offer some insight from someone who spends more time on airplanes than in his

You just don't get it Chip....And you prolly never will. It is a violation of a basic human right. And don't assume you know anything about how my company works. We are an international company, so you are saying I should drive to London from Salt Lake City? Perhaps Greyhound it to Tokyo? Hop a Princess cruise to New Orleans? Sorry to be harsh about it

Let me ask you a question folks...How many of you are business travelers? Well i am. I fly about 130,000 miles a year. Trust me the security at airports nowadays is extensive. And don't give me any of this "flying is a privilage" stuff either. I do not have the time or the luxury of driving in my line of work. I fly the same airline (Delta), Rent from the same rental car agency (hertz) everytime i fly. My background has been checked extensive
