search Microsoft.com for Scriptomatic. This tool will give you the names of the WMI objects and the values you can extract. Then import the WMI Memory Object in the DX3 library and cut-n-paste the For loop from the Scriptomatic interface into the For loop in the 123 timer in the WMI Memory object's script. Wicked.

Ok, I loaded up his object, and it appears that the systray icons are being rendered with the backgrounds transparency properties...it's not a z-order problem for sure...but, was the way it worked in 2.4 a bug or a feature...or, is it a problem in sdmcp.exe? Wicked.

Looks to me that the Systray icons are under the png. That might be what's happening to other people's SysTray icons, and since most skins use bmp files, they can't be seen. I don't thinks it's a DX3 problem, per say...but, a problem with the SD Systray application. Wicked.

Ok, the version of DXPerf2.dll that was in the zip file is dated 2/28/05 19:02...I pulled the version from the last DX2.X release (2/21/05 08:49), and Performance Meters 2 now shows up on the Plugin list... Wicked.

Two things I'm seeing... 1) This application has failed to start because ATL71.DLL was not found. When loading a previously created desktop. 2) The DXPerf4.dll could not be loaded. (also related to Performance Meters 2 not being on the Plugin list) When loading an object that uses Perf Meters 2. Wicked.

Cyngus, It appears that you are getting mixed up with the terms being used. DX 2.X (Today) There are 3 ways to export your work; DXPacks (Objects), Widgets (Stand-alone executables that require the user to have DX 2.X installed), and Applications (Complete stand-alone executables). DXPacks and Widgets are what you can produce with your current ODNT subscription version of DX 2.X, and you need to buy the $499 DX 2.X Pro version t

I'm at a loss here...Stardock will be giving me exactly what they have been giving me with my existing ODNT package. The good news is, if I want to share my DX works with friends, that don't have DX-enabled PCs, it will only cost me $70.00! Excellent! Wicked.
