It is because if a rear tire blows out, you are more likely to lose control than if a front tire blows. Even if front wheel drive. it may not be as big a deal as when most cars were rear wheel drive but when you have had a few of each, you will understand his logic. He was not BS'ing you, you just assumed he was.

I have no problem with folks saying Merry Christmas. WHy are these bureaucrats so worried? Could it be lawsuits? The ACLU? I think that some schools would be willing to fight this PC horse-pucky but tyhe ACLU has much deeper pockets than most school districts. I like to twist folks and say, "Happy Candlemas" or "Happy festivus" since I don't hear anyone wishing me a "Happy Buddha's birthday!" when that occurs.....Maybe I should sue! <img src="..

If you had two cats rather than one, 2 days with food and an extra litter box would be "Just OK". Cats like companionship too! The cat would probably be OK but would ignore you for thwe first few days after your return. My worry would be if the power and heat went out while you were gone. I know what Mn winters are like.

ATI has never been known for good driver support and the Catalyst suite is proof. My last ATI was a 9800 Pro and I loved it but these days I have two Nvidia Computers. This one: Socket 754 3200+ AMD 64, 1 Gb RAM and A 6800 GT. my New Gaming Box: Socket 939 3700+, 2 Gb DDR Evga 7800GT. It is a monster without clocking. I am even going to pick up an X-box 360 tomorrow. (Won the lottery!) And then I'll sell it!
