Funny thing about public sanitation. When there was trash in the streets where kids played, there were no major outbreaks of polio. After we started picking up trash then Polio showed up in epidemic proportions. Mind you, the chances of Tetanus, blood poisoning and such was a great deal higher, but polio wasn't a pandemic. I still remember my first smallpox vaccination back when I was about three years old or so. Must have hurt.

Deitz I gave my teenager a couple books out of this series and he now has purchased all of them.

After waiting for nearly three years, i am finally able to give again. A lot of military are disqualified after being stationed in the wonderful and interesting places the government sends us. It is also the reason I have been putting off any new tattoos. The local blood bank here is working out a deal where they collect for the Armed Services Blood Supply, so I know where it is going.
