She wasn't even my type as I prefer women who don't have a moustache. You wouldn't like half of my first sergeants over the years then...............

As promised, here's some pictures. Except I haven't figured out how my wife got around the evil, all invasive "Easy Share" (Ha!!!) software for our digital camera, so I can't post any pictures of my trebuchet yet. Enjoy. The beautiful, warm, inviting housing in which I live on Ft. Lewis... <img src="http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b31/nbs11/100_001

How 'bout we close off Sadr City again? That cut down the sectarian violence to practically nil while it lasted. It worked beautifully. Then again, the French tried that in Algiers, and it didn't work out too well long term. Plus the Iraqi president's a wuss and already nixed it once. This war really is like Vietnam. Every time you try something that works, it gets taken away for political reasons. Sigh................

But our company until a few days ago was admin attached to a F.A. battalion and there's been a huge theft problem in the barracks and around it. Not safe to leave your car overnight. They were even roaming the halls on our floors steal

As promised, an Army perspective on some classic proverbs and sayings. 1. A woobie is a man's best friend. 2. A 10 mile ruckmarch is as good as a mile. 3. All men are not cast in the same mold.......except for MPs. 4. Bad news travels fast. Deductions from your paycheck travel even faster. 5. Bad planning on your part does not con

She's probably disappointed you're not into more feminine hobbies like rebuilding classic hogs, making beer can mosaics and hunting moose like she is. You have so got to open up to your feminine side, dude.

And, since it's been awhile, a warm up....... Two officers are sitting out on the edge of an airfield watching a private mowing grass. After talking for awhile, they start arguing over whether sex is 95 percent mental, or 95 percent physical. They argue and argue and finally one of them says, "You know what? That private over there is a lot younger than us an

I'm still playing with my new toy. Monster pod. It's my first real mp3 player. Shhh. Don't tell anyone. Roar. So far, I've been uploading songs from my CD collection all week, and I'm up to about 2 days and change worth of music and used up maybe a whopping 3 percent of it's 80 gig capacity. It's seriously cutting into my knitting. But.......another

Reply By: foreverserenity First thing? Don't start on socks. They're a real bitch for a beginner. Try a scarf. Not very practical this late, but good for practice, and you can save 'em up for Christmas presents or something. It's a good way to practice your basic stitches without major hassles, and try

It's soon discovered that Julie's father (Jean-Claude Dreyfus) is actually butchering people ( a la Sweeney Todd) Yes, but the real question is, are they organic? Meh, I've got nothing. Yay Sweeny Todd! Erm, the musical version of course, not the real life meat pie thing. Yeah. Wasn't that So

I also found it very difficult to shoot with the vest on because the chest plate keeps you from pulling your elbows in very far... I think the new biceps protectors are the worst. They make it almost impossible to raise a weapon up to shoulder level. Meh. The thing that never happens with military equi

They say that one of the reasons that America has fought as well as it does, is because of the great care with which we equip their individual soldiers. Take WWII. German engineering was waaaay better than American. Look at the panzer tanks for example. In fact, when we conquered the Germans, a lot of our future wartime technology was plagarized in mass. However, we o
