Well, $99 is too much for me just to make one little gift for my father. Would it be possible to install the free version of DesktopX on my fahters PC and then give him a widget version of the picture frame? (is there a free version of DesktopX?

Uh, I hoped, that would be possible with DesktopX itself. I wanted to give the slideshow picture frame to my father with his vacation pictures.

What about using that Scroll Lock and Pause/Break keys as default. I think, they are the most unused keys (at least for me).

Okay, that makes sense then. I just thought logon screen was different, because my logon screen uses 1024x768x24bpp while the bootscreen and the shutdown/hibernate screens all use the basic vga (?) 256 (?) color resolutions.

Thats strange. Bootscreens are skinned with the BootSkin Tool but the Shutdown Dialog is skinned with LogonStudio?

Hello, is there a way to skin the shutdown and hibernate screens? It is irritating to see such a nice bootscreen on startup, but when I shutdown the computer, I still get the normal windows shutdown screen.

yeah, some tutorials would be great. And is there a complete scripting reference? I mean some document where all DX Objects are described with their properties and methods..
