Here is some quotes from our founding fathers: Thomas Paine From The Age of Reason, pp. 8–9: “I do not believe in the creed professed by the Jewish church, by the Roman church, by the Greek church, by the Turkish church, by the Protestant church, nor by any church that I know of....Each of those churches accuse the other of unbelief; and of my own part, I disbelieve them all.” From The Age of Reason: “All natural institutions of churches, whether Jewish

If the election were held this November, he would not come close to being elected against Gore or Kerry. The poll today (even how badly slanted) was not about who would be elected today. Like another person wrote in another post: While people may not agree with President Bush and may think he is doing

IMHO the flat tax will not work, because it will not be truly flat for long. Everybody loves loopholes. Within one year Congress will have so many tax credits at all level it will be ridicules. Credits for having children, donating to the Boy Scouts, or being in poverty. Do you really think that the ACLU, boy scouts, and churches will not fight for charity deductions? That is their bread and butter.

You should be so proud. You're supporting a war profiteer. Nice. Webster's II: Prof-i-teer: One who makes excessive profits on commodities in short supply. Notice the word "Excessive". $.45 is not excessive. My largest stock holding is in Granite Construction, a companies that builds infrastructor projects for the Government.

If a tree falls in the woods and there is the whole Washington press corp there to report it, yet only a hand full of close shot pictures, did it realy happen? Even with the Rita coverage, every news agency has this as a foot note. Even the NY Times, Boston Globe, and LA Times does not have it noted on the front page. It is interesting that the only

dabe I grew up in a single parent family with four children, we lived from a mid three digit monthly income, lived in the back of a station wagon, or a house with milk crates and old sleeping bags for furniture most my childhood. All but one of the children have found ourselves within the middle class today. The last has chosen to remain there. Exactly. Most conservative folks have no problem with opting-in to say, prayer. I don't see why it would be so destructive to opt-in to saying "under God". I have a feeling mr Nedow would probably throw a fit about that, too, but I'm not really "on his side" as much as I agree with him on this one point. <BR
