I'm not sure what happened to the uploads, but I'd seriously have to recommend actually testing them out with Bootskin. It can take 5 business days for files in moderation. I'm new. I have my account from 2003 I think. Since then I haven't uploaded or create things. So it's the first time I post something on this forum, the first time I upload files, the first time I'm using all of this.. I want some help with these stuff <img src="http://images.stardo
Hoi, I have created a couple of bootscreens with BootskinBuddy and tested it with BootskinBuddy. I have uploaded them all to wincustomize. Now 3 to 4 days later they're all gone. I haven't got an email saying they were rejected. They are just disappeared . Are they some persons that uses also BootskinBuddy? I would like to know what happened, cause I want to know what I did wrong..
don't feel bad. heck, I seen people jump up and reply to a couple of posts that were 2 yrs old. Thanks. Afterall others can maybe interested in programs to create something they could use.
Why bump a 5-month old post? I'm sorry. I saw it by searching "Cursor" and I saw this tutorial. After reading I saw a post and I posted. The programs that's important.
Now if I could only figure out how to draw. You can create an icon with many programs. Microangelo, Axialis Iconworkshop,... There are many programs out there. You create an icon with these programs and you save it like an icon, or cursor. You just pull down the extension list and choose for cursor. You than import your icon or cursors in CursorXP. ED
Thanks for the tip MISTERAMD and I agree...I want total control on my computer...thats why I am so pleased with drive sentry...nothing goes on if I don't want it too and it has a lockdown button to stop anything in its tracks. It's My Secret I'm glad you agree with my opinion.

They say that Hitman Pro is a spyware detecter and destroyer, but that there was a spyware inside this program.. I have checked this out. I installed Hitman Pro and yes my AVG said virus found and after a deep scan with Ad Aware he found some trojans. Hitman Pro uses other software to detect and clean spyware, but in those programs, spyware itself is lokated. I'm not sure if they update their definities or self checked this, but I never used Hitman Pro again and never will be. It installs some p
I just restart my browser doesnt work. I restart my browser and re-entered my account and passwords. I delete also cookies and temporary internet files. I'm doing this for a couple of days. It works not exactly 100% but I don't see "sometimes" the message anymore..
Good catch MISTERAMD...I use both Adaware & AVG free ...actually scrolled back up kicking myself for not adding them I'll check those out, thanks It's My Secret You have them know on
You forget X-Setup. A fine registry program to make things faster and change things so that the way explorer looks is different. You can add logo's to Explorer, Internet Explorer and many more.. Also Ad Aware that searching your system for any trojan horse, adaware and other spyware such as dialers and so one.. The free AVG Antivirus is also a good program And Advanced System Optimize
Stardock has a registered trademark on StyleVista so good luck to them. On Windows XP, Stardock had intended to have CursorXP, BootXP, LogonXP, and WinStyles XP (for the XP version of WinStyles which ended up being called Theme Manager after TGT Soft arrived on the scene and used the name Style). On Windows Vista, we were more careful to make sure that our naming convention got in early enough to not have third pa
Yeah it happens to me sometimes. Really annoying, that. Not able to anything for couple of seconds . I just restart my browser
hand over the chocolate and nobody gets hurt Harm them if you must, I'd rather have the chocolate... mmmmm chocolate.. When is it easter again?
I make this topic to see what the rest of us is thinking about the other skin program "StyleXP" I hope the creators of StyleXP are not going to attack StyleVista ( https://www.stardock.com/products/stylevista/ ) Also what I'm asking myself, can other skin programs use attributes of others? I mean can StyleXP use bootskins created by people of Wincustomize? Also the name Style XP and <STRO
Hahahaha sounds funny I'm glad it's only a forum
I have the same wierd screen when I'm surging the site. Sometimes that my account doesn't exist Sometimes that he can't found the forum .. I'm using Advanced Browser. This is the only site where I have "sometimes" problems with.
Nice pictures
Can you add a control for all the new persons that make an account on stardock to verify their age? Maybe it's easyier to hold those 13 year old children?
i try to download it but it goes to a page that sayz buy for object desktop or windows blinds 5.0 standalone....i thought it was for registered users now! I believe by registered users it means people who have paid for it either by an ObjectDesktop subscription or the Windowblinds standalone. Not people who have just registered to the site. Exactlly. You make an account and you have to pay for a program. If there
Can the virusscanner hold the launch of windowblinds? of maybe the firewall, especially if you use zonealarm, that just blocks everything ( in the beginning when you install zonealarm ).
really strange thing, I made a bootskin with no progress bar. copied the ini from one of the sample bootscreens that also did not have a progress bar, edited my file names accordingly, zipped it up, changed the .zip to .bootskin, opened bootskin, imported, got a message that said "imported successfully", BUT.. the skin I made is not in the list to choose from. If I look at the bootskin folder the one I made is in there with the proper files also, but it just does not s
Well that does seem like common sense, otherwise why make a bootskin if you don't even have the program in the first place to test and use it on? o_O Sounds like common sense. However, you'd be surprised at the number of bootskins rejected because they don't work (and can never have worked) <IMG src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Wink.gif" onload=setImageSize_onLoad(650,thi
