You can set your program menu to scroll so it doesn't over shoot your desktop. Right click on taskbar and select properties and click on start menu tab and then click on customize and then click on advanced tab and then scoll through list and tick scroll programs Done that - sorry but I hate th

Hi fol;s! I have my icons all prettied up with IconX, but I have more icons than desltop space! I was using ManageDesk virtual desktops to organize my program icons, but disabled it for now. With PCs getting so powerful and HDDs so large, we end up with too many darned applications. Even the Start>All Programs menu overshoots my desktop! There are a number of desktop suites for Desktop X on WinCustomize, but many of them are "

You should be able to do that in ObjectDock. From the ObjectDock Properties/Config dialog: Create New Dock>Dock Contents>Show System Tray icons on the Dock Oddly enough, I don't see where you can add this to an existing dock - though my two existing docks are tabbed, and it may not be available on them. I don't use this feature because back in the beginning days of OD+, there were a lot of issues around Systr

Just found another conflict: When working in Outlook 2003 with Agendus for Outlook as a COM add-in, dialog windows to create new tasks, meetings, etc. are missing some elements. Eg - the task window does not show the Contact link box/drop-down, and some other elements. Unloading WindowsFX returns Outlook and Agendus to normal functionalty. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/icons/wc.gif"

The best way is to download and install Stardock Central (SDC) and perform all of your installations, uninstallations, and archiving with it. SDC will keep you up-to-date with all OD applications. Much easier than trying to track what's what via Control Panel>Add or Remove Programs in Windows! <img src="http

I'm having some issues with an installer for another application and the direction is to empty my Temp files. While reviewing the Temp files before deleting, I noticed that there's a Stardock Backup Temp folder there with almost 2 GB of files in it. Is that the archive that SDC creates when installing upgrades? If so, why are they kept in the Windows\Temp folder, where a cleanup could eliminate them? Or are these unnecessary temp

Thanks Sir Bichur. That might help. I hate to say this, but the discussion board within SDC is not a very user-friendly monster! Extremely slow, and the navigation is, well, not as good as most. (I'm being nice!) Is there any other way to view the posts here? Something a bit more robust? The usenet groups are great, but they do not include these posts. Even an Invision or phpBB board would be much better, IMO. Thanks.</

-Mac: Which menus in Pocomail? I tried installing it and all the menus looked fine here. Sorry this is late, Neil, but without any notification of replies I never know which posts to backcheck! In Pocomail, the menu bar across the top is dark text on dark background, and the drop-down menu

Same here as to version mismatch: About OD+ dialog says version = 1.20.522u SDC 2.20.357, Build 103, Misc says OD+ = 1.20a.015 (10/21/2004) Been like that for more than a year now.

Pocomail - Exclude. Certain checkboxes do not show and text on menus is often unreadable. FotoSlate 4 (From ACD Systems) - Exclude. Template selection boxes show what appear to be Greek characters instead of the intended icons. When I wrote the developer with a screenshot, he immediately wrote back and said I must exclude it from WB - so he must have already encountered it. WindowsFX - Current beta cannot be running with WB5 beta

I hate to revive this thread, but to ask something I posted later in this forum, in the OD+ Media Guide there is a sample showing several of what appear to be single tabbed docks on the bottom edge, set up as drawers. With the "3 per side" rule, how is this accomplished? Or is that just a rigged screen capture? BTW, it's that sample screen shot with the Alienware theme shown in the link below. It shows seven such docks on the bott

Here are a couple of screen captures. The first is to show the Save Theme dialog I see in ObjectDockPlus V. 1.20.522u Plus. http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b104/J-Mac001/od_theme_save.png And here is one more to show another issue I'm having with OD+ dialogs in general with the latest WB5 beta release. Note that the windows all become transparent and the overlap becomes a bit hard to decicpher: http://i18.photobucket.

You should have a dialog with files listed, much like any other program uses to open a file. At least mine works this way Really? Mine never has. Running Xp Pro SP2, and the latest OD+. It honestly has never showed a dialog - I'll post back in a bit with a link to a few screen captures. Weird...

Can anyone point me toward some OD+ documentation? I've had OD+ since released, and I've used it in a rather rudimentary fashion ever since. I've tried getting a little more fancy but end up borking all my docks up, so I restore them and then just let it be. I have the official ObjectDock Media Guide, and I've also read Corky's article. Both help some, but are there any other sources of help or instruction for OD+? Righ

Hi folks. I hadn't noticed this here before, so I'm a bit late signing in. Guy, Gray Surfer (forget that "Silver" stuff), PA, USA. OD subscriber for a couple of years, just signed up for WC at the start of October - thought I'd try to help give the drive a boost. Haven't done any skinning except for small stuff on my Pocket PC's and some custom icons. My talents don't really lean too far that way.
