thanks zu, but it just doesn't have as nice a look on that page, it's too small to notice the detail that went into it. really like that. would be cool to have a whole set that looked like it. This week I did some playing around with Misty Mint by Jazzymjr , and inverted the colors in windowblinds configuration panel to get this skin just the colors I wanted. The look was great and when this blind is not recolored it is still very pretty. The only bad note to reco

not being computer-artisticly inclined , but having some really interesting thoughts about what skins I might like to see, I think a skin ideas thread would be highly welcome. doesn't mean I expect my ideas to be used but as danilloOc stated, ideas are always welcome, and sometimes that little spark of an idea can spawn a whole new direction to explore. if I understand, You are trying to update a skin you downloaded at an earlier date, that has been modified in some way, but each time you download the skin it still appears as the same skin you started with? if this is the case, and I read correctly, Try deleting the original skin (or placing it in a renamed folder, if you're not sure the newer skin will work as well) prior to downloading the newer edition. then apply the newer eddition. This should solve your problem if that was wh

zu's got it look at nj on a map. the indent there sits just under ny, and it looks like an armpit when you notice capecod up above(tiny little arm) I am unfortunately from the actual "armpit" am a midcoastal jersey native

actually the hotdog vendors usually sit them in steamers above warm dirty water... and it is what makes a ny dog taste so um... special... those of us from ny and nj, are immune to any germs created by this, as we are fed those dogs from the time we get teeth to chew em ... guess it's an "armpit" thing... (if your'e not from jersey that won't make sense.. if you are, you totally get it) In any event, Happy Independence day United States!!!

Thank you Night Train for posting that very informative and highly readable article for us. It has cleared up many of my questions and misconceptions regarding copyright and legality of creating copies of any sort. I have in the past , not created something due to the question of copyright infringement, and wish I had known about that article for reference guides. I would ask for a url , for future reference, but think I will just bookmark this page instead. Though if you have a u

"I don't want someone I don't know telling me what to do"... lol.. and then he'll grow up, find out the government who he doesn't know, will tell him how he has to pay his taxes, where he can/can't go,what rules he has to abide by,how much he has to pay for certain items, what medical care he is entitled to,...hmm should I go on? In real life kid, you have alot of people you don't know telling you what to do. and just to be more specific regarding the comment you read th

I rarely if ever leave comments on the skin sites. I feel the comments are most often just vacant "attaboys" or attacks on the skinner his/herself and rarely have any constructive information within them. This is one of the reasons I began the articles I write. I felt the skins needed some personal feedback, and some reasons why I felt their skins were useful, beautiful, or had some issues(though most of the ones I show I have little issue with , occasionally I find one that looks
"Report" links also need to be added to skin submissions and skin comments.
That is a great idea. Too many times I have seen someone go into chat to report a problem only to start a stampede to the thread.

in the past I noticed some of the more experienced artists would create their designs in such a way that even if you were using an older version the blind would still look good. though I think with wb6 everything changed there, because text and design have now changed. But I would still try it. It never hurt my system in the past when I was behind on the versions , and wanted to try new skins. But like was pointed out earlier, there were some that didn't look right, so I just deleted those sk

The internet has given people a false sense of an "instant society" just because you can surf the web at the "speed of light"(or however fast your providor allows you to) , does not mean that every other aspect in your life is going to be handled in that manner. I also noticed you only just purchased this "yesterday"(your word) which was a Sunday, a day Stardock employees are not at work. You gave them less than three hours to rectify your issues upon arrival at their workplac
