I too could not get last nights version to work and I had the original version that worked. I think Frogboy had it turned around. Oh well! Todays alpha 2a is working just fine I can't wait until we can use a higher color resolution. Things will look better then. So far I think it looks Ok!

Wow, what a topic. I will bet that stardock didn't think it was going to get so many people flamming! Heck after reading (these comments) about boot screens and bootxp, I tried it! I use the "LogonStudio" and (object desktop) window blinds and etc. I feel that my system can really have a particular theme applied, from bootup to power off! A lot of good people with good information on these news replies! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/bigsmile.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle

I noticed when I use any of the sub themes when I go to log off I loose the pixstudion log off screen that is now availabe with window blinds 4.0. I don't know if it is a bug or planned that way. I like the long version. So when I log off I only get the microsoft log off logo rather than the pixstudio one....I hope there will be a update.

Logon studion is still having problems with windows xp. Many times it stops working when windows xp starts. It basically crashes. Then windows xp wants to send an error report. Bla, Bla Bla. I know I am only 1 of many having this problem and so far the only work around is to turn off the automatic logon changing feature. I guess if you want the same wincustomize logon it is ok. But try to use the automatic logon at boot up time change and then we start sending error messages! Very frutra
