and again you want to punish the innocent along with the guilty How precisely is this punishment? Changing the rules for granting citizenship isn't a punishment to anyone. Explain why someone born on US soil should necessarily be a US citizen by default. If your only answer is that it has always been that way, then that is not a reason, as there isn't a rational basis to this argument. Guilt or innocence of the child has nothing to do with it

Pretty common in NYC to see homeless people toting around a big bin with tons of cans. THey'll often have a couple of poles sticking up from the bin/grocery cart with additional bags hanging from them. And just an FYI....using quotation marks for emphsis is what I was taught in school. I find the quotes MUCH less annoying than the CAPS, plus using CAPS would bring you TOO close to the COL's posts. Especially WHEN they show UP in seemingly random SPOTS.

When treasury obligations come due, we immediately sell new debt to repay the old debt. Most corporations do the same thing when their bonds mature. If you're going to claim that this is bad practice, then most of the banking industry should be shot. I'm not singling this out to be nit picky, I just don't think there's much to which I ought respond in the rest of the post as it's either obvious facts, or faulty conclusions.
