Yes you should. You will not be disappointed. I have played through all the betas and the gamma and can tell you that it is a remarkable game. MOO 1 & 2 were great. GalCiv 2 is epic. Ditto was Ash said. There is a metric butt load of info about this game available. You can also d/l Stardock Central and join the chat there.

As I understand. No. When it loads it checks for an internet connection. You can however turn this off in the options menu. Great for being on the road, or sea when you don't have the connection available. The CD will check for the connection as well. Unless you turn it off via the options screen. And yes it can me on multiple machines. Just can not play on more than one at a time unless you have more than one license. After you load the game up click on manual. All

In the final, all events are less common and the recession only does a 25% hit to your economy instead of 50%. Thats good newz. I saw then fairly frequently but never more than once in a game. What really hurts is when it comes early in the game.

For Green thumb (3/10pts), give the player one extra tile for every ten; (+10%) For Magical (8/10points), where the player has spent almost all their race points to achieve this one special ability, give the player two extra tiles for every ten (+20%) Agreed.

I don't beleive just getting to advanced level of espinage gives you there techs. Did not work that way in GC I and I have not seen it in II yet. In current game I have advanced on all 9 races and have had it for about 50 turns and still have not managed to 'acquire' any of what they have. All they really have that I don't is some failrly low level defensive stuff that I never reasearch.
