I have the newest version of this and really hadnt played around with it alot. Man it is REALLY COOL! Does some pretty neat stuff! Cant wait to show this off to some of my freinds.Nice work guys!

This is just something I think they should put into Windowblinds 5. I like the new advanced build and being able to sort by install date and such but I wish it had a sort by favorites function. Something where you could go through and pick these are my fav most used skins and when I go to look for them it would just bring those up for a fast way to find one of my fav skins im looking for..Just a idea..<img src="smiles/Smile.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmidd

From what i remeber I didnt have a line running through my start menu though. I have updated to the beta version of WB5 and havent had the problem again. Hope they can help you.

Ha those are pretty good..lol I guess it is a (personal) computer after all... I think a chrome one with flames and skulls on it would be pretty bad as*. Make the drive bays look like a mouth and teeth..lol

Ok heres the fix that worked for me! I had the same problem (taskbar and quick launch icons big and jagged looking). Unload windowblinds. Go to the display props and apply the regular windows xp skin. See if your icons go back to normal.. Mine did. Reboot the computer, After your back on your desktop you should be looking at windows skinned with the defalt blue crappy xp skin and your icons in the tasktray and quicklaunch should be back to the regular

Ive seen this problem posted on here and no one was able to help him ether.. Was hopeing maybe someone knows how to fix this now. with WB5 my quick launch icons have grown and now appear jagged. My icons in the tasktray and start menu are the same way. On the other account on my computer they are fine...? Wondering if anyone knows what could be wrong.. Thanks, Mark

This is my Dell 8400 dimension desktop im useing now.Gig of ram,P4 3.4ghz. Runs big files in Photoshop just fine Its been updated with a split keyboard and black cable modem box and a thumb driven trackball mouse. Link

Ya every time I install WB5 i go to log on to another user account (admin account) and it loads so slow I have to hard reboot to get out of it. Cant do anything on the other desktops but wait for over a hour for it to load. Im just running 4.6 too now. Stardock emailed me back 5 days ago that they got my email about my problem and I have a ticket number and thats the last Ive heard from them....Bad customer service.
Nobody has been able or even tryed to help me with my problem. its been over a week and Im still unable to use the new windowblindws 5 without it rendering all other accounts on my computer useless.. otto888 2 TEMP, If you can get into stardock central windowblinds 4 should be avalable to install in there. Just uninstall 5 reboot and then open SDC and install 4. its the way I did it.
Just a bit of good news I thought I would share with anyone that is getting discouraged with finding help with the latest windowblinds build, My problem is that it skins my desktop and looks great but my Daughters desktop wont load or work anymore. I think the new windowblinds looks fantastic. I have it workling on my main desktop but Im haveing a few problems though.. My cursor useing free version of cursor xp goes behind the title bars and buttons when trying to click them and after installing WB5 my Daughter has her own account on our computer (admin rights). When she tryed to log on to it it just loads extremly slow if at all and is unuseable. its in classic skin mode and I cant even be on it
Thanks Neil, How would I go about doing that? Being able to fix that would solve my final problems with the new windowblinds. It really does look fantastic and would hate to have to go back to the older one just because of this account issue.
