Had it not been for 9/11, I think they would have run Gore again.

Welllll hot diggity dammmmmmn I have been waiting for a Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Sanda Day-O'Connor sandwich with me as the meat for YEARS!
I would kill (or as my wife says kill kill kill kill) these people.
very very excellent dude, I loved this poem
Kerry would have to eat a live baby on television to sway my vote. (away from him) But I don't think it's baby season right now... damn now I'm hungry
Did you use real lard in the crust??? Real lard with the method you just detailed makes a pie crust soooo goood -- but yup coooold water. hmm i want some pie now might hafta go get pie making stuff
Didn't ANY of you learn anything from the Vietnam conflict? I learned that we shouldn't expect to fight a quick, slap/dash war in a small country that believes in a set of ideas so strongly that they will be willing to fight a grueling and endless guerrilla
I had to be out of work for a year due to major neurological problems and surgery. It was incredibly hard to get back into the job market once I recovered, and I'm making only about half of what I was making before. I'm not complaining too hard about the pay cut, though, because I at least HAVE a job, and so many don't. Good post, you get *insightful* from me.
sooooo...it's bad when left wing entertainers support Democrats...I agree...but then you totally lose all credibility by including a list of right wing celebs...you seem rather PROUD of THEM *read it and weep, lefties* So what's the score Flamer? Should entertainers stay out of politics? Or only the left wing ones? What are you really talking about?
If it's finished, then send my husband home please. Yeah, send everybody's family back home.
I think they should just give everybody who came to the Olympics a gold medal. Even the Security Guards and spectators.
hahahahahaha I'm a Cancer and I ALWAYS screen my calls...those danged stars!
I hadn't ever heard of this, so thanks for the post and thanks for the link.
I was a "house husband" for about a year and a half while working on a book, too. Keeping house full time and fulfilling those responsibilities for the family is just as vital as any work anyone can do. I was never bored, either, and it made me appreciate every person who gives themself totally to the family like that. Good post, you get *insightful* from me!
The phrase IN GOD WE TRUST is part of our heritage and history You had me until right here. "In God we Trust" was a little dig to the commies added to our "heritage and history" in 1956. July 30 of that year to be exact. But hey, the money it's on spends the same, so no biggie. amusing post<
Great post as usual, I enjoyed it mucho. What about WWII style fuel rationing? Or even late 70's style fuel cutbacks? We cut our usage by 25%, we more than can tell the Middle East "We don't need you."
You mean President Bush was DRAFTED into the Air National Guard? I was unaware of that, thanks. You mean President Bush was telling the TRUTH when he said Saddam Hussein had ties to al-Qaeda? I was under the impression that it was the Kurds they were working with. You mean calling a decorated war veteran an unpatriotic coward isn't inflammatory? I'll keep it in mind. I agree with the bit about Nader, though, the Dems had give
It's interesting that American went to war in Iraq because Saddam Hussein had ties with al-Qaeda. All evidence points to the idea that any al-Qaeda facilities that existed in Iraq existed in the autonomous Kurdish North. The Kurds are a displaced people, and Turkey wants to keep them that way. And of course they haven't forgot that Saladin was a Kurd. It's a similiar problem as with the Palestinians: Arab states would be happy to have the Palestin
I is all a-quiverin' at tha idear that demmycraps mite try an' steal dis here 'lection from George. I mean, it'd be like sumbody winnin' 500,000 fewer votes n' the other guy n' still winnin' the 'lection -- not a lan' slide like george won in 2000. woo hoo Bush n' Cheney 2004 remember to vote on November 3rd, all you loyal 'publicans <img src="../images/s
I actually heard a piece on NPR where a guy out in Cali went on the same diet as Spurlock, but worked out an hour every day and didn't gain any weight or have any of the medical problems that spurlock had... he says it's a matter of not exercising rather than specifically fast food
Thanks Blogic, I was checking the forums and not the news -- appreciate you catching us up on the latest. Any of you from California, I hope that you are all safe...
conan rules, i hadn't heard this
wow, and I thought having 8 cats yowling for breakfast was bad...at least you can close the door on them and they can't use the knob
If Bush keeps this up, by the time the elections roll around he's going to be wearing a red dress, curly red wig, and singing "The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow"
Limited elections will only be seen as US rigged elections. Today on NPR the State Department spokespeople were advocating the same kind of "limited elections" in Afghanistan as well. It smacks of wanting to keep our pets in power, and it will not work in the long run.
