It's probably you. Hee, heee. Sorry, I couldn't help myself. Just learn not to take some people so serious. You know I love you or I couldn't tease ya.

Yeah, your mom's a real sweetie and a half. You never know that the little good things you do come back to bring you so much joy. Your family and kids are precious and it makes the whole thing pretty wonderful.

I pleased that you agreed that Constitution in no way forbids the promoting of religion. The Constitution doesn't even forbid promoting religion or the selling of religions books, no "per se" about. . The Constitution forbids the Government from "establishment" of a government run religion. It is entirely open to promo

Life does have its learning curve. Hang in there because it will take you through some twists and turns. One can only be judged by the light which they have received and their response to it. You're still young. Be prepared for some eyeopening experiences. At 55 yrs old, I'm stil astonished at what I've seen and learned since I was your age. Nonetheless, I believe it's good not to persume upon the Creator.

Grreaat point there iamheather. True, you can write and sell almost anything. The problem with both sides of the issues is indicative of the war on fundamentalism and modernity. The extremes are to be avoided. I don't believe that the Noahian flood covered the whole earth or that the earth was created 6,000 years ago. BTW, the bible never says the earth was created 6,000 years ago. The Noahian Flood is a didatic story and the flood likely limit

Hi, everyone. I've often thought of starting my own church. I mean the world needs another one don't you think? Mine would be a kinder - gentlier church. Anyone can join and do and believe anything they want, as long as they follow the one doctrine, "tithing" of course. To none other than, me. Such a deal! Really, I believe there is always a degree of unrest due to differing beliefs. A certain degree of pluralism is managable for mo

One wonders, you know! Most people have the sense to separate fact from fiction. The more vicious a person becomes, the more you have a right to distrust them, IMO. Since, we don't sit in the CIA's office or Presidents office we are subject to taking these people and their staff at their word. When something in their character shines through and gives us reason to distrust them, then we have a right too. I have not found sufficient reason to mi

Yes, I do believe religion does have a future and meaning in the 21st century. Atheism is fundamentally empty. Innately , in mankind is a cogniscence of the existence of something greater than himself, creator, if you will. Prior to the Age of Reason, when man learned to test everything by logic and rationality, the evidence of God was clearly seen in the heavens and the earth. Since, that time an ever growing spirit of rationality has t

My wife and I went to see the controversial movie, "Kinsey" based on the life of Alfred Kinsey, the infamous sex scientist analyst. The movie vividly and accurately depicts the Alfred Kinsey and his associates lives. To me, his life is the epitome of what happens when an attempt is made to make a science project out of something that is beyond science or biology

I think your problem might be an understanding of what it biblically means to be dead. The Lord said regarding the saints, "all are alive unto Him" . Thus, when Abraham, Issac and Jacob had been dead in the flesh for hundreds of years, God appeared unto Moses, and said, "I am the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob" . And to further quote Christ, He said, "He is NOT the God of the Dead, He is the God of the living, for all live unto Him" . Th

How in Hades , did we get here? Religion and "faith" , has often been the accused causing all the evils in the world. Because we live in such a specialized world, even the most educated around us appear only to have a modicum of learning and understanding the how, in hades we arrived to the point where fundamentalist fanatics are calculating how to manufactur

RIGHTLY UNDERSTANDNG ACTS 15 By Robert Clanton There are two terms used in the scriptures to define two different stages of gentiles conversion to Judaism. Why Christians keep the Lord's Day and not the Jewish Sabbath By Robert Clanton [email protected]] Why? Because Sabbath keeping of Gentile nations or Christians is not taught in scripture.
