i think vstyler may be correct. bmwchubb probably is talking about sks in vista. as far as i know, a version of sks for vista is still in development. i'm sure adam is working on it as hard as he can. rest assured, when it is released it will work as advertised.

wb 5.5 does run on 32 bit vista, i know. if you just installed wb, have you rebooted since? if you've rebooted and are still seeing black, i'm guessing your vid drivers are bad/corrupted. i know i've dealt with that issue before installing 64 bit vista.

my vista experience value is 5.1 with the cpu being the lowest number. system specs are listed below. i had forgotten to say ealier that i'm still awaiting drivers for my bluetooth dongles. i have both targus and kingston models but will use only one. system specs: amd 4800+, asus a8n-sli premium mobo, 4 gb ocz platinum ram, evga 7800gt co, (2) wd 74 gb raptors raid 0. nothing else i can mention has any bearing on the vista experiance value. i intend to upgrade to an intel e6600 cpu,

i've been running vista ultimate 64 bit for about a month as my only os. there were some issues with certain devices at first but everything works flawlessly now. i did have to purchase a new scanner since my canon 1240 wouldn't work. my ONLY complaint is the stardock apps i want to use are not available for 64 bit yet. when those apps are available, i'll be perfectly content.

it isn't the content margins. change the top panel of the start menu to something around 60 to 65 pixels wider than the size of the left panel of the start menu.. you may have to adjust some other setting sif the fore mentioned adjustments cause banding of the start menu. it's been a long time since i've altered a blind but i've given the basics.

i've been running the betas on a seperate drive for months. sometime in february, i'll buy vista ultimate oem. i don't see any sense in spending an extra $200 just for the manual and a fancy box. i know i'll be looking for new releases from mikeb314, dani, pixel, gabe, tiggz, and a few others immediately after installing the os. that's a hint, mike!

fairyy, i just downloaded and ran both of those widgets. the weather widget works as advertised but i can not get the time and date widget to show the time. the date toggles as expected, tho. another mod commented that he could not get the time to show, also. btw, i like these widgets. they look very nice. the call is yours. do you want to try to upload them again?
