You can see how a country is civilized by how they treats POWs. USA, in general, is pretty good on that. That is very bad exceptions. There is exceptions to everything. Does it excuse those solders. Hell no. I hope the goverment punishes those bastards.
It's called confirmation bias. Basically, person has certain bias, and he or she just sees the facts or events matches the bias and ignore the facts or events that don't match the bias. Groupthink is something to be avoided. Can anyone tell that I'm taking SPEE 201, Group commucation in college?

"unamerican" acts are being punished...even as I write this. But it would be fatal to the war effort I call it anti-humanity. You won't be complaining about punishing the solders for such acts if you were forced into simulation (or actual) sex with somone opposite or same sex as you.
Abuse of POWs happens in every war. It may be the case, but why accept it? Is it because it is common? If that's the case, that agrument seems weak to me.
I do agree it's time to end the way, but not by putting tail between legs and run home. Just do a smooth power transfer, ensure the new Iraq government will run fine, and leave.
It's truly awful thing to happen to anyone, no matter who is doing it, the guilty level of the prisoners, and how common that kind of thing is. Everyone, don't ever turn off your moral sense because it "always happen". Fight that sense of commonality and complain about the injustices done to those people. Yes. I'm an American, and proud of it. Those solders are Americans you say? SO? They still did bad things to those prisoners.</font

I got a return-email, apparently my computer or someone else spoofed and used my email address to try send you a virus, but your email server caught it and sent it back to me, but I have no email record on that. Btw everyone else, if you got an email from me, delete it. I haven't sent a email to any member in here for a while.
