My cousin bought a hard disk (WD Caviar 40 GB) about 8 months and all of the sudden it got stuck. Is there any way to get a stuck disk to run again, other than smashing it against the floor? I had someone come to me with that problem. I tapped the spot on top where axis of disk's spin is, sometimes it works, but that guy's HD was being stu

Nah not a closet fan. I'm a proud AFOL. Check out my wallpaper in here related to my lego hobby.
I suspect that the earth's spin north progression is at fault. each 10,000 years, summer becomes winter, and versa. Just wanted to add that I'm likely wrong on number of years, but it's definely true. [Message Edited]
/me thinks that red text useage has gone overboard.
Yeah. Progress: 1. Add certain features. Partially done now, just need to add one more feature then I'm done. Eta: day or 2. 2: Make one window skinnable: No progress on skinnable part, altough I finished the standard window so people can use it.
Terrorists wants all of us cowering, and not building the tower means we're cowering. Hell with 'em and let's party. I'll say this again, it's better to die on feet than live on knees.
Is it a single partition assigned to the whole 40 gb drive? Fat32 doesn't support much over 4 gb per partition. I would recommand windows xp since NTFS supports single partition the size of 40 gb.
Yeah. VB.Net definely is powerful, but you will hit on differences repeatly. If you want to subclass, in vb6 and before you would have to go thur hoops and etc to get it, but with vb.net: Protected Overrides Sub WndProc(ByRef m As System.Windows.Forms.Message) Const WM_CLOSE As System.Int32 = &H10 If m.Msg = WM_CLOSE Then Msgbox("Oops Windows wants me to close. Goodbye and merry xmas, User!") End MyBase.WndProc(m)'Process other messages End Sub<br
Oh man. Like others said, it's a nice 'gift'. Hacked DLL, ripped iconpackager, and now what? TGT is in trouble indeed.
"It's better to get killed on feet, not live on knees." Hmm I don't think I got the quote right, but I intend to live on my feet till something happens or to my old age not on my knees, in fear of dangers. I don't think it's dumb actually.
I have hit a few snags so the release may be delayed for few days. It's also bit unfinished, I need to add some more things before I can release a beta. For dragging window without caption: Private Sub Fig_Mousedown(Button As Integer, Shift As Integer, X As Single, y As Single) If Button = 1 Then ' Checking for Left Button only Dim ReturnVal As Long X = ReleaseCapture ReturnVal = SendMessage(hWnd, WM_NCLBUTTONDOWN, HTCAPTION, 0)
It depends on how you created transparent areas? Did you use api that basically makes click and drag anywhere on form ( other than controls ) acts like caption?
Someone makes a new skinnable program, and you have to do it all over again and skin the new program. Yep. Something has happened that havent happened since about 1999. A new XX series program. It's fun. All I can say is that it's definely unusual skinnable program. Right now,
Lol little bit of good head bashin' is good for admins.
Wow thats good news. Only 100 to go.
Hmm an idea. If you buy Object Desktop, you get Wincustomize price lessened to 10$. Since there is many Object Desktop users, it may be better, even with half price.

Welcome to my blog about skinning, and SVG file format, and sometimes my other hobby, Lego.
Not bad, can you add the 16x16 preview, however?
HMMM... I guess you could use remote desktop. Such as RealVnc. That assumes that you got a good computer to use it on, however.
Yeah. 'Bryce Lightning' program rocks. I rendered a very diffult to render picture in just 2 hours with that. It would have taken me like 15 hours otherwise.
XX was short of X > X a mathical immposibility. Dunno why I chose that. ( It was before I even tought up XXCalc too. )
I'd be happy if I could just be level... but people keep telling me I'm half a bubble off Groan. I remember playing everquest.
time limit on non-subscription accounts Uh no thanks. My account is old, and I plan to keep it for longer still.
8/10 not too bad.
