Everyone was encouraged to upgrade to XP not only because of its ease of use with various types of media but it was more secure and less prone to bugs. Exactly. Windows IS easier to use and has less bugs.

I like that organization but my hair grows so slowly ( Appox 3 inches a year ) I can't grow it to donate, unless I want to wait for 5 years.

I lived at California for 2 years, and we had a really bad drought there and lasted 2 years. I never even saw a cloud the entire time I lived there, other than the very last 2 days. Believe me, I was really stunned. It was really heavy rain too. My parents never washed the car, neither did any other people. Some apartments, like ours were stubborn and watered grass anyway, but there that didn't had dead grass that faded to almost pure

Maybe we're still allowing smokers to smoke because, deep down, we don't WANT a totalitarian government. Just a thought. For the record: littering is illegal. Recklessly causing a fire is also illegal. It stands to reason that there are already legal standards in place to punish such irresponsible activity. </TA

I'm truly amazed. Just minutes ago I was driving on way home, and a division between roads with wood chips were smoking! I had to stop at safe spot and run and stop it. I successfully stopped it. It could have changed into fire and send off enough stuff to start fires at nearby spots by fire. The place I'm living at could have been set on fire too. I am not

I just don't like people that try to pull down rich people. Not all rich people get rich by "old money". How about Bill Gates? He started poor and look at him. He's the richest person now. Fair tax for everyone is a better solution.

If size of bit information size were to be down to just atoms, something solid state the size of one cube inch would be more than entire state worth of media storage. I'll bet that by that time we would be laughing on how small GB, TB and even Exabit were. I'm sure thats enough storage for movie done in *3d* hologram.

The time frame was *exactly* what the issue was. According to book "My Life" by Bill Clinton his wife did pretty much the same. Clinton was one of greats, IMHO. So that does not make Kerry a possible bad president because his wife decided to take his name recently.

Maria Teresa Thiersten Simoes-Ferreira Heinz Kerry. Married Senator Kerry in 1995. She only took his name eighteen months ago and she is an "interesting" paradox of conflicts. So what on taking the name? I wonder why people keep looking on that as a bad thing. When my mom remarried, she took nam

Hey! You're either FOR the PATRIOT Act, or AGAINST it. Got that, commie? Why do people insist on black and white world? There IS such thing as greyscale or even colors. As it happens, I'm anti-patriot act. I think that's pathway t

I pretty much agree with bakerstreet. It seems to be working so far, and unlike what doomsayers have said so far, USA actually handed out authority to interim government. I wonder how long before they gather up police, soldiers and etc necessary for any nation so they don't need American solders anymore. What's wrong with hope? I don't understand those who keeps saying that something or other will fail or blow up on our collective faces. It co

XX - that would be quite a skill to learn indeed... What do you plan on doing with this skill? Do you have any grand schemes? To take over the world!! Heh just kidding. I wanted to have a markable skill NOW pretty much. I am currently attending college.

I agree, dissent shouldn't ever be a "bad thing to do" because that will cause some serious problems. Suppose those in government collectively decided to eliminate certain race or ethnicity because nobody dissented because that's a bad thing to do? The only type of dissent I don't like is dissent for the save of dissent.
