TW: Link P.S. At least this would be good news if it were true. ;) I know, I know, I was supposed to not read that part.

most people assume "Electric Dreams" is the title of a porno and look at me strangely. You'd have to be the first person NOT to do that. I'll admit, it was rather cheesy. But ya gotta take this into consideration: I'm a lot like Miles in that I'm pretty much a nerd(y) type who always falls for the girl next door type. So I guess the ending, where Miles gets the girl and all, was m

Rather than making this a long-as-heck list, I'll give you my top nine picks. Why nine? Because ten is so overdone and eleven would be too predictable. Movies: 9. Electric Dreams - Go ahead. Ask me. 8. The Goonies - I always liked Adventure films. This one is for the kid in all of us. 7. The Godfather I & II - Two movies you can't refuse.

Stuff I actually listen to: The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Eagles, Pink Floyd, CCR, The Who, U2, Elvis, Nirvana, John Lennon, Quiet Riot, Motley Crue, Metallica, Korn, Primus (on alternate Thursdays in months beginning with the letter "J"), Huey Lewis & the News, Night Ranger, Def Leppard, Incubus, Nine Inch Nails, The Cure, Prince (and/or the aristst formerly kn

Da list: Cowboy Bebop - I've seen 'em all. Twice. The movie, too. Trigun - Watched first 8 or so episodes. Haven't gotten around to rest. Neon Genesis: Evangelion - Ditto above. Escaflowne - First four episodes. The Big O - First four episodes. Jury is still out on this one. Inuyasha - Watched the first 3 episodes and... *shrug* There are

You ever get the feeling the older you get, the younger your crushes get? (Note: yeah, I know someone just posted this on the Guilty Pleasures article, and I'm not trying to be a copycat, so bear with me). An example: Lindsay Lohan. She's barely 18. I'm almost 32. That's (does quick math) 14 years between us. I could (although logistically it would be imp

I can't sleep. This has actually been going on for a while. It's been four years, can you believe that? (Four years since when?) Since I had my last, um, relationship. Well... fine, "in real life" relationship. Face to face, as it were. I've had this online relationship, first it was a friendship, then we flirted with being a couple, then she broke up with me

Such a wonderful article. I couldn't have said it better myself. Another of my personal favorite artists that went way before his time was John Lennon. Oftimes people made parallels between the two men. Difference being Kurt decided to end his own life. I certainly don't blame you for missing him or thinking about him. He was a man before his time and a great contributor to music. Again, great article. I gave you an insightful. <img s

Meh. I'm having a moment. Bear with me. Attitude check: not feeling too happy, why I don't know, maybe it's because I miss her, again. Who's her you ask? The one that got away. Twice. I thought we were friends but now she's just disappeared. Without saying anything. I could, but I probably shouldn't, e-mail her. It's been a few weeks since we talked.

What's wrong with me? I seem to have incredibly bad karma (or whatever you'd call it). I can't do anything right, I always end up fucking something up, pissing someone off, or just generally feeling as though I have no use or purpose whatsoever. Alright, quit yer whinin', you'd say. Stop feeling so sorry for yourself. Whatever. I don't know.

This seems to be a common theme in games these days: "T&A." For those of you unfamiliar with that phrase, it means "tits and ass." Guys, get your minds out of the gutter. Gals, bear with me here. Fairly recent examples include Bloodrayne II, The Guy Game, and SRS: Street Racing Syndicate (an entire game where the whole point is to, get this, win girl

Oops. Heh. Insert between "Industrial" and "Lounge": Jazz - Jazz oftetimes gets confused with whatever type of music that Kenny G. plays (I didn't include that genre on here, either). You could go classic jazz and bring up guys like Charlie Parker or Benny Goodman. Jazz, to me, is another genre of music that should probably go without singing. Add singing and it either becomes Blues or Lounge. This is just my opinion. Singers like Etta

Sandy2, I didn't know you that well but I saw (and read) some of your other posts on here. Maybe I'm just a little biased being a Lib but I think it's sad you've decided to leave. Whatever the case, you have your own reasons so I won't try to convince you otherwise. Have a great life and take care of yourself. Sincerely, Craig

Glad some people liked it. I intend to blog on, whether or not people listen to me. I have this feeling that some people automatically see my name and don't bother to read my articles, but oh well. I try to read what I can. It's interesting to see everyone's thoughts. What the Democrats are thinking: Link

I'm a musician. Not a professional one, mind you. I don't have any CDs out. Mainly, I play the Piano. I also sing, but not publically (usually). I can get away with playing the Bass, but hand me a guitar and I only know a few Chords. I can fake the drums. Sometimes. On Tuesday. When it's raining. And the moon is full. Get the drift? I love basically

NOTE: Contains SPOILERS. Don't read if you haven't seen the movie (and don't want me to ruin it for you). Don't let the title fool you. Gwenyth Paltrow is the heroine of this movie. Why do I say this? Jude Law's "Sky Captain" (nee Joe Sullivan) is much like Han Solo: he's the likeable, roguish sort who lights up the screen and makes us root for the g

I've got a confession to make. I'm in love with Sarah Michelle Gellar. Well, maybe not "with" per se because it's very much unrequieted at this moment. That is to say that I firmly doubt Sarah Michelle Gellar returns my feelings of amorous infatuation. Whatever. To make a long story short: I think she's frikkin' hot. What? Don't look at me t

"I've been guilty, to a certain degree, of attacking other people's opinions." How many people here can NOT raise their hand to this statement? I'm guilty. I'll admit it. You may not like to admit it, but it doesn't make it not true. My question is: why is it we so quickly shut out anything that doesn't agree with our own point of view?

Being a movie buff m'self I can't help put my two cents in here: 1) Get Carter Didn't realize this was a remake. Never saw either version. 2) Psycho Oh, good god, this was a mistake if there ever was one. Did you hear they toyed around with remaking the SEQUELS? 3) Thunderbirds Ebbida-wha? 4) La Femme Nikita(Point of No Return) You mean the Bridget Fonda movie? Bleargh. I didn't realize that was a rem

I kinda felt sorry in a way for that guy the other day that was trying to claim Kerry really won. He wouldn't even listen. I think I realized something as I was reading that post... it's what I sound like sometimes. Thanks for the comment, Grim.

I just realized something... I opened this article the totally wrong way. "Why not just fix it," you ask? I'm not sure what else to say. I was trying to be funny, I guess, but... ah well. I'll leave it. At least until someone tells me that I should change it to read something like "Welcome to my humble article, please remove your shoes and place your hat on the coat rack, along with your coat if you should have one."
