I read your previous article. Wow...that sucks. Happy that you are now in the clear. :)
InBloom
I like that we are upgraded. My only suggestions are a less cluttered homepage and more options to personalize my blog page. The biggest change I have noticed is the speed....waaayyy faster than the previous site.
I love calla lillies. They remind of the Diego Rivera paintings. They are lovely. Did you buy them or grow them?
I wish I could grow flowers...I'm not very good at it. Actually, these were a gift from Chris. We rarely have fresh flowers in the house, so it was a nice surprise. I made the mistake of putting this thread under "Art", but when I moved it over to Photography, the title is still
Beautiful pics, Rose. I'm jealous.
I'm even more jealous of you being in Spain...lol. ;)
I adore David Archuleta...beautiful voice, wonderful presence. He does seem like a shoo in, but you never know what will happen during the top 12 performances. I actually think the male contestants are stronger than the female contestants this year...I'm betting on a male winner this year. Other contestants I like are Michael (I think he does better with more soulful songs...he should show off that side of his voice more) and Jason (sweet vocals...nice and gentle stage presenc
Here are pics I took of some Calla Lillies I had in my living room. They are all wilted up now. ;)
One more cent: Is there a way you could accept something bigger than a 50x50 avatar then resize from there? Thanks.
Hiya, JU admins First off, thanks for putting forth the effort to redo this site. My 2 cents: 1. More customization on my blog (with colors and such...how shallow am I) 2. The homepage does seem a bit cluttered. Like others, I did like the sidebar on the old version that allowed me to skim recent articles, recent forum posts, etc. prettye easily.
Felt like spending some Trivia Bucks...here's my purchase. ;)

HIya, Ben. Welcome to JU. :)
Awww, I'm so jealous, SanCho. :P I'd love to go there someday! Keep having fun. :)
P.S. I don't know enough about the movies or nominations this year to hazard any guesses.
There are some years where I've seen maybe only one of the nominated movies.
While Daniel Day Lewis probably will win Best Actor, Johnny Depp should win. I believe he is the best and most versatile actor of our time. In Sweeney Todd, he does something he'd never done before, and does it phenomenally. When he puts himself out there to sing, which he had never tried before, he deserves an award. This is like his third or fourth nomination, he deserves this one.Best actor alive.Except maybe Dustin Hoffman.
We were actually supposed to go see Sweeney T
Which is why it won't win. Maybe it's just me but the best movie rarely wins. I saw a show yesterday where 2 guys where making their picks and one of them hated Juno called it the most overrated film of the year. That no teenage girl would ever talked as intelligent as her, and how the whole movie gives the wrong message to teenage girls.
Was it Roeper and one of his annoying guest critics? Boo on them if it was. Anyway, I can see how some people wouldn't "g
While I liked No Country for Old Men, I hope Juno takes everything it was nominated for. Best movie I've seen in years.
Chris took me to see it a few months back, and I liked it very much. What a shocker it would be if it would win!
Lately, Chris (udigit) has been approaching me randomly with a blank stare on his face. He stands there, takes a coin out of his pocket, and with his deepest, creepiest voice repeats to me over and over, "Call It...just Call It", "Call It". I try to get him out of the mode, but he doesn't budge, which then causes me to either crack up or freak out...lol. This crazy but cool No Country for Old Men-Javier Bardem imitation got me to thinking ab
Bummer for me, too. :( Stupid clouds.
I gave up, then went back, then got lost, and I'm back again! ! It helped that they explained a bit more in last week's episodes! Glad you are on the Lost Boat again, Donna. <BR
Welcome back to Texas, Brandie! Love the family pics.
Hiya, Trudy. :) watched Lost for a change, after I'd missed a few episodes it was tuff to hang in there....it sure seems promising!!That other show, Eli Stone? ya, I was interested in it, however fell asleep in my recliner. when "Medium" comes back in a couple of weeks I'll pay attention! How
Melibee I haven't given up on the show either. I like how they've twisted it around on us, very clever. Here's to three more seasons to go! Cheers to that.
Poet It sucks though that they already know when it will end. I really would've prefered not to know. At first, I didn't like that the end date was so soon, but at least I know that there is an end goal there of tying up all the loose ends (or at least I THINK that's what they'll do). <img src="../i
Ted My son is really into it. I think it's one of the most original tv series in years! It was great to watch a new episode today... even if it was a sad one. I agree...definitely very original. It continues to surpise you with its story turns. <img src="../images/smiles/smile.gif" border=0 ALIGN
Amy I thought it was really interesting. I think the reason I stopped watching it is because its on when I'm trying to get my kids in bed and I'm always so distracted by them that I'm always missing something important. Lost is a show that you really have to pay attention to. I would like to get the past seasons on DVD and
