Good points you have in your article...I never noticed I was a glass half empty girl until ppl pointed it out to me...I struggle with this. I worry too much, go straight to the bad side of something, stress out too much, and compare myself with others sometimes... I need to chill...I'm always reading about how Positive People live longer...well, I want to live longer...lol. I want to get to the point of someday 100% accepting myself...and taking that motivation to improve myself...
lol messy...I didn't know they had another model on there as well.
Sounds like you can write a book out of this story! sweet nickname...reminds me of when a friend of my Grandfather used to call me "Petunia" lol
I would LOVE to scatter meals throughout the day, but I can't really do that with the job I have...I certainly need a nutritional and health overhaul...I eat too many sweets and don't exercise as much as I should...One good thing I have done is take soda out of my diet...when I do drink it, it is usually diet soda...also, I am trying to consume more veggies and fruits. Thanks for reminding me that I need to kick myself in the butt and get into better shape...
I haven't seen that one, alison...and I don't think I want to now...lol
The one where the mom comes home with the new Grand Turismo video game...She yells something like, "Boys, I just bought the new grand turismo game!"...and her sons AND husband come flying down the stairs...He yells something like, "Yes!" Gran Turismo, and ends up falling over the bannister, crashing to the floor...I guess it's funnier on TV than in writing...lol
Good article. People should think twice before declaring they are going to leave. I think everyone will get to a point when they get too busy, frustrated, or bored to blog, but it doesn't mean you have to be gone for good. Take a needed break...and when the mood strikes, come back and join us...
I refuse to be on the cell phone when driving...if someone calls me while I am on the road, I will either not answer, or I will give them a five second "I am driving, I will call you back."...It annoys them, but I can see how it can be distracting and cause you not to be aware of your actions or surroundings...
I know the "awards" are over, but I failed to name a blogger whom I thought was worthy of the "nice" award...and this is Heather...she doesn't blog much anymore, but she would respond a lot to my and other ppl's posts and was pretty friendly...I know her mother was ill...hope they are both doing well. anyway...congrats, winners!
there ya go...railroad hand car....thanks Mason...lol I agree Kingbee..it is indeed a trippy collection of images...
Trina, those sound pretty weird, too...lol...I didn't know about Hungry Jacks... Gene: omg, I remember that commercial..it's the first time that King weirded me out...waking up with that strange plastic figure beside you...I don't even want to think about how I'd react lol
There is a commercial out there that has Darius Rucker (of Hootie and the Blowfish) dressed as a cowboy and singing about a Tender Crisp Bacon Cheddar Ranch Sandwich....it totally weirds me out... First off, why is Darius doing a Burger King commercial? I know that Hootie hasn't made music in quite a while, but I never expected to see him singing about a san
Congrats on your baby girl ...And here is wishing you a healthy pregnancy.
I don't like to takes sides of things I am not personally involved in...but I really do hope that things settle down so that you can continue to blog with enjoyment instead of worrying about what bad things will happen next.
I hate that, too...they either wait until the last second to use them, or don't use them at all... and speaking of crappy driving, I hate when I get tailed even when I am not driving slow...I need my space...lol
Nice List . Lots of interesting facts you have there. I share your love for the Simpsons...Ralphie is my favorite. The b/f gave me a tshirt with him on it...he is looking wide eyed and has his hands up in the air; the caption on the shirt says "Weeeeeeee!!!" lol. I also suck
Danny...it's YouR Day and you can be a "whiny maggot" if you want to be...lol Have a Wonderful Birthday, and may you have happier ones to come.
I would probably be type 2...complain and rant on and on...then fill it...lol
That comment must have passed me by...the only things I remember are the sweet words he said about his grandmother...
yeah...the list just goes all over the place...lol ty dynamaso
i'm alright....almost done here at work...lots of grading and paperwork to do....and then from here i go straight to wal mart for some needed shopping....sigh...I just want to go home and nap.... oh wait...I still need to exercise somewhere in between (like that's gonna happen today....lol).... glad you are still writing, btw.
good article...insightful...
ty, nomad...everytime I glance at the list, I remember a song I should have added...here's another..."Long and Winding Road" by The Beatles...like I said, this is a work in progress list lol
Give yourself another chance...you sound young...don't let that big city...or more importantly, your view of yourself, swallow you whole.
