Well, since I've recently been named a gamer girl, and I do have a Harry Potter wand replica on my wall... I fear the worst.* *This is not really meant to be taken seriously. I like my life just the way it is, and wouldn't change a thing. If I have to die alone because I'm a super-nerd, I am perfectly fine with that.

Is he gay? Actually, he's bisexual... so yes and no. That was quite a short stint with the online dating. I just didn't see anyone on there who meets my short list of requirements... you know, taller than me, doesn't smoke, 23-30, has a job, and has the other half of this golden amulet... (Thank you Maria Bamford)
I hope you can read this. If not, go to Link and then you can see the original cartoon. I recommend checking this site out. It's really funny yet tells many truths. <!-- J
LW: Yeah, I know, that would be the smart thing to do, but I just don't think I want to keep trying the online thing right now. If I ever go back, I'll get one. Tova7: You're right, and that's kinda what I was thinking. I'm in a new town, and I should really focus on meeting new people here and not importing them from several hours away. Plus, if I'm so worried about getting home to talk to this guy because that's the only way I get to be w
So, it's 5:10 a.m. and I haven't slept yet. I've been in bed, waiting for sleep, but sleep never came. I suppose part of me is still waiting, but the rest of me realizes that the wait is futile. Looks like it's another sleepless night. Only, for once, this sleepless night has not been seen alone. Turns out, John can't sleep either. I turned my computer o
I think I'm going to be good... but I haven't decided yet. After all, it gets annoying when people start cheering everywhere you go. (Though, when you walk into a bar, and every chick in there immediately falls in love, that's pretty funny)
I was craving this pie earlier so I called my mom to get the recipe. It's so fantastic that I felt that I had to share it with everyone here. I hope you enjoy it!
I was a goof and loaded the wrong save today, so I had to start over again with my training at the guild. I just got the traders through to wherever they were going. I had to do that mission over again though, because I decided to open a demon door, and had to fight the guardians and, though I beat the guardians, they killed one of the traders I was supposed to be protecting. It's really funny too, because I have two other friends playing it
Oh man, the nerds just took over my thread. You guys make me happy.
! I don't know how hot I am, but the rest is true. You know, I've never been able to use the Jedi mind trick on anyone... this should be fun!
Lately, I've been playing a lot of video games because of John (shower guy). I had played FATE for about a year, but never much more than that until I moved to my new place and met John. He got me playing Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines and Fable along with some games on the Wii. Sometimes I go over to his place and play these games on his super fast computer.
"I don't want to cuddle you, or kiss you, because I've never even met you. Your unrealistic picture of our relationship can only lead to further delusions of intimacy that I am unwilling to deal with in the future. Begone!" I don't know, I kind of like this. Especially the "unrealistic picture of our relationship can only lead to further delusions of intimacy" part. That's just plain impressive. Can I be the prince
It wouldn't be so bad if we didn't have a cat, and she'll go through even after she's cleaned the kitty's litter box. That's too gross for me. I'd rather leave the tuna can in the garbage.
Last night I was at my friend John's (shower guy) apartment playing video games. I went home for a bit to make a phone call, and headed down the dark stairs to the front door. As I was descending, I said "Oooh. Creepy, dark stairs." and John told me to turn on the light, not realizing that I was already halfway down the stairs. As I neared the bottom, I thought I
That sounds really good. I spent a whole summer picking blackberries and tried to turn them into blackberry jelly. Unfortunately, I didn't add enough paraffin wax, and I ended up with blackberry syrup. But it was fun to go out and pick them every morning. I agree with Locamama -- you should see about planting some of your own bushes. Could be fun, then you get plenty of berries (if it works, that is)

I kid you not, but this sounds like my roommate. She goes through our trash looking for things that I've thrown away, washes them, and recycles them. Then, I get a 15 minute lecture on how to recycle. I swear, I've wanted to stop recycling just to get to her. But then, she's also so obsessed about natural/organic food that she wouldn't be caught dead getting ketchup from a package. She probably wouldn't eat at a place that served packet ketchup. And that's why I think s
This isn't so much a book review as it is a review of a series of books. The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher tells the stories of the only wizard you'll find in the yellow pages. Harry Dresden, the detective wizard, works with Chicago Police head of Special Investigations Lt. Murphy. Together, they fight vampires, werewolves, creatures of Faerie and demons. Ha
Chickens in choppers -- my favorite part! Thanks for sharing!
Screw him and see how it goes. There are too many things that could go wrong with that scenario... He looks like a douche bag, SHE!! Which one? I posted three pictures? But then, I think they're all cute. Of course, I have strange taste in men.
Wow. I would make some comment agreeing to the hotness of your hubby, but I feel that would be inappropriate somehow...
Actually, it seems as though I have a new problem. Some time ago, I started talking to the first guy I met online. We seemed to really hit it off at first, and then... nothing. Sure, we still messaged each other on MySpace, but nowhere near as often and we stopped calling each other. I'm not really sure what happened. Now, I'm talking to this new guy and, what happens, but the old guy starts messaging me again. And, just to keep things straight, here are some pictures of the thre
Can you tell I just moved? Actually, I just moved too. And, since I just got a steady job, and I'm accepted into the master's program here, I don't plan on moving any time soon. Plus, I don't want to live with someone before I marry him. Call me old fashioned, but I've always felt that way. (Oh, and the bit about the date to the Harry Potter movie... very funny) Maybe you should express your reservations to hi
So, for the past couple of days, I've been talking to this guy. He seems really nice and really sweet, and we have a lot in common. Unfortunately, he lives a few hours away. He seems very excited about the possibilities of "us" and thinks we have a shot. I'm more concerned and much more cautious. Long distance relationships are tough and, while I've manag
Oh, I'm glad you told me that. I was very confused for a minute there.
