Ok, I know we have some married couples and some siblings and I think some parent/kid relationships. I know some of the relationship here, but I was just curious how we all knew each other -- other than meeting on JU. I'll start. Myrrander is my older brother. He told me about JU about three years ago, and I've been blogging here on and off since then. Of

38% pure. My purity has dropped 3 points, LOL. What have you been up to? Wait, you're purer than I am. I guess I have no room to talk.
Heh, I'm looking forward to hearing what needs to happen before "mission accomplished (no, for reals this time)" is declared. I'm scared the answer is going to be absolute peace or Armageddon. <TD clas
That had to be tough for you. I hate to read too much into your article, especially since I don't know the back story, but it sounds like you did the right thing. You have doubts for a reason. I've seen too many smart people ignore their intuition and continue on in bad relationships because they fear the pain. I'm glad you have worked through your issues. It takes courage to end a toxic relationship, but it takes more courage to face yo
I enjoy seeing different sides of issues presented here on JU. Most of you are more than willing to participate in an intelligent debate of facts and ideas. I don't often participate in these debates, but I do read them. That being said, I do, occasionally, ask questions of JU. This is no different. President Bush vetoed Congress' Iraq funding bill today
WOuld have been a very short story then. True. But then Boromir could have lived, and we wouldn't have had to watch Frodo become a bigger and bigger wuss as the movie went on. Also takes care of those pesky 100000000 endings.
You answered "yes" to 63 of 100 questions, making you 63% 100 (37% non-100); that is, you are 63% in the sex domain (your purity is 37%). 37% pure. Wow. I really am a preacher's kid.
Finish everything up and close that chapter of your life. Almost done. You know, I was scared before, but that's pretty much all gone now. It helps that I've got a best friend to move in with in June, and my finals are going well. I actually feel ready to be done with college. oh, and WOOOOOO HOOOOOO!!!!!!
I am now writing the final paper of my undergraduate career. At 11:00 am tomorrow, I will turn in my last paper, and I will be done with college. I will be finished. In honor of this, I feel like breaking into song... And now, the end is near; And so I face the final curtain. My friend, Ill say it clear, Ill state my case, of which I'm certai
Does this also count for Facebook and Myspace comments and messages? I would assume so, just thought I would ask because I like to hear from my cousin, and Facebook works best for us. And does this mean that messages I send him can be read?
In my experience, every time someone tries to avoid the fate told to them by an oracle or something, they usually end up causing that fate. And here's the final result of my paper. I really hope this is what she was expecting: Of Wizards and Muggles What Harry Potter really says about us Witches, goblins, orcs and magic swords usually belong to the world of children. However, many professionals and critics are takin
And (other) stuff.
Aren't ya'll glad that I decided to play on YouTube instead of writing my paper? You need to go to YouTube and looke up "Saving Private Ryan How it should have ended" It's pretty good too. The saddest thing is, I always wondered why they didn't ask the eagles to fly them to Mt. Doom so they could drop off the ring. Of course, I understand that the journey is more important than the destination... but still!
I found these, and I just can't resist sharing them. Enjoy! </obje
Sophomore: Etymology: from Greek sophos wise + mOros foolish So, sophomore means wise-fool. And Hershey syrup floats my boat. Just so you know.
I had to write ten pages IN CLASS this morning. I hate those kinds of finals. The prof gave us 7 possible essay topics. We get there, and he has picked four of them for us to write on. We had to write on the first two, and then we got our pick of the last two. Three topics, ten pages and a hand cramp. At least it was open book / open note. I'm being so bad right now. I only have two pages on my Harry Potter paper. I'm playing online instead of working. I'm such a slacker. But,
You bet your ass I am. You know, I've never really understood what betting my ass means. If I lose the bet, what happens to my ass? It's a lot more interesting than being completely sane, I'll tell ya That, I know. (Try telling people you believe in dragons and see what they say)
and stuff. (I just don't know what else to say.)
Oh, and Zoo, you're crazy. Just thought you should know.
Ooo! You should also do the egg suck. You take a boiled/peeled egg and a glass bottle. The bottle top needs to be just slightly smaller than the egg. (make sure the bottle is dry) Show the kids that egg won't fit into the bottle. Then, light two matches and let them burn a little bit. Put the matches (still lit) in the bottle, and immediately put the egg over the whole. The egg will get sucked into the bottle. Or there's always slime:<
and rinse and repeat good one Thursday...then I can step up to sophomore status. w00t! Can I start calling you Wisefool after Thursday? Pleas
I'm so close, I can almost taste it. And yes, surprisingly, graduation tastes like chicken. I have two papers to turn in -- a 10 pager on Harry Potter (see "of wizards and muggles") and five one-page responses and then... I'm finished. I will no longer be a college student, I will be a college alumna. I will also be officially accepted into graduate school
And stuff. I think we should end each post with "and stuff" from now on. Thank God for advertising and their willingness to help fight global warming by selling electric consuming machines. And ones that use excessive amounts of water, don't forget. LOL, SHE What? How am I supposed to know what's going on if the businesses don't tell me what to bu
Sorry Dan. I know it hurts, and sucks and all, but I'm still proud that you took such a risk.
Here's a quote you might like on the importance of choices and the nature of prophecies. It's from JK Rowling's website: “Yet I was making what I felt was a significant point about Harry and Voldemort, and about prophecies themselves, in showing Neville as the also-ran. If neither was ‘pre-ordained’ before Voldemort’s attack to become his possible vanquisher, then the prophecy (like the one the Witches make to Macbeth, if anyone has read the
