We fucked up royally I hate this fucking war. I hate this fucking administration. Watch your language. There is no need to make yourself sound like a blathering i
just john
Would you rather he lie to you and tell you that we will be out in six months or how about nine. Look at the message. As the Iraqis stand up we will stand down. We will leave as they take over. Building a new nation takes time just as building anything worth surviving the test of time does. You may not agree with the reason we are over there, but it would be a far more horrible thing to leave now. Stop being so negative and at least acknowledge the pos
In his 4th of July address from West Virginia University, Bush has give the exit straegy for Iraq. As I have said in other threads we need to finsih the job we started there in Iraq. I don't care if you are FER or AGIN the war. We have a job to finish. Bush anounces: "As Iraqis stand up WE will stand down" Sounds like a good
And John you may need to think this through some more. Not all GI's are acting with pride. And it's time you were taught that. You are right not everyone is acting with pride. I don't, however, need to think it through to know that the vast majority are doing the best job they can. I watched the edited
I feel bad for the Iraqi's, but shouldn't we be concerned with our own problems such as the terrorists attacks on 9/11? Don't you think making sure Iraq has a stable govenrment that doesn't support terrorists is a good thing?
I support our troops, however I do not support this war. That makes no sense to me. I don't understand how you can be in favor of a person while showing disrespect to the job he does proudly.
Why don't you ask some of the people over there if we have any business over there. I have a few e-mail addresses of my friends, American Soldiers, if you would like to expand your narrowed mind. They still have a job to complete. When you say that they shouldn't be there, you make light of the hard work that our American Soldiers are doing and that is nothing short of dispicable.
I can't quite work out if you're being serious or not with that quote. I will give you the benfit of the doubt and assume you were being sarcastic Just trying to fit in with RH. After all, the truth isn't the truth until you put a spin on it. Right?
You would think RH, with all of his whacked out news sources that do not support their claims, would have a scrolling list of the dead in Iraq. Frankly, I wish we were in the days of WWI and WWII. Then you only got bits and pieces of information and people supported the war effort. The more we shove media into our military the more people are going to twist the story to get viewers. Let’s face it the better the story the more people who watch
Yet another unsupportable claim made by RH. I have a conspiracy theory for you RH. Why do you believe there were no WMD's found in Iraq? IEDs have been found all over the place. Isn't a bomb a weapon? Doesn't it cause large amounts of destruction? As for the terrorist... The US said it wouldn't deal with terrorist in hostage situations. That has always been the policy. The article calls the way we are fight
It is the practice of the business I work in to document a paper cut. It doesn't always happen. Gene is right. They should have had pictures and the whole shebang. One of our employees just had a slip and fall at a local Wal-Mart and they were all over her. She hasn't called in a couple of days but from what I understand the store has called to check on her a couple of times and made sure she didn't need anything from them. In this
It's simple. Use the windows display properties. Whe you have both monitors plugged in you will be able to extend your windows desktop to one of the monitors, make one the primary, and secelect which is diplaying right and left screeen information. It is probably the ATI software that is messing this up for you. I have an all in wonder and two monitors. I don't use thier software because it does things like extend the taskbar across both moni
I understand where you are coming from. CPS is a real joke. They tend to listen only to authority figures when it comes to true cases of abuse. I have my brother-in-law admitting on tape that he punched his son in the face on more than one occasion. CPS will do nothing about it. I guess my hope is that this child will be recognized at school and be offered help. He has several offers of good homes, with family, to live. His father, however, would rathe
Is it possible that this could have a positive effect? I think so. If they ARE qualified to make these sorts of evaluations and the parents ARE aware that they will be doing these evaluations, I don't see anything wrong. If a child is mentally disturbed, this might be an opportunity to help the child in a case where the parent can't or won't. Social pressures are far different from what they were 10 or 20 years ago. Kids are dealing with is
Eminent Domain has its place. I think this is taking it too far. Way too far. A good case for eminent domain is happening in our neighbor city (we are divided by a river so it is pretty much one big town). Through poor city planning, they were faced with a train issue. A single railroad track crosses the two major east west roads and two tracks cut off a section of town in the north and the south. This has posed a major problem for emergency
Silly I know, but the point is that there was never and danger from fire because there was nothing in the BBQ to catch fire. It was all ash. There is always danger with fire. What probably happened with the BBQ is this... The fire, left covered to smolder, was starved for oxygen. It had enough oxygen t
Well put!
A cookie for anyone that can tell me what movie my #9 choice is from. Paint Your Wagon. I didn't know but the IMDB did. Link *sits down to enjoy his cookie*

Have you ever thought ... What if I had ... instead of...? I have, a lot. It is just as interesting where life takes us as where we take life. I met my wife maybe by coincidence or maybe by some cosmic order. We both transferred with the same company to a new location. She was in a bad marriage and wanted to get back to her family. I just wanted to be close to mine.
I have ridden it. I was in Orlando in January. Mission Space is a centrifugal ride. You are spun around at high speed much in the same way as the popular carnival ride. There are 4 people in a car and they have the ability to control the pitch of your car. When it starts you are staring at a screen and you are pushed back pretty hard in your chair. I wouldn't call it painful but it was a good bit of pressure. Then, as you break into space from your take off, you almost go weightless (still spinn
You may think that's acceptable, but I do NOT! It's not acceptable. To argue that is a system that does no good is also not acceptable. I think CPS is a joke. My brother-in-law has anger management issues. All of his issues are concentrated on his oldest son. His oldest son just moved back in with him a
I'm no fan of scientology. Before you judge what someone else chooses to believe, step outside your own beliefs for a minute and see how strange they might seem to someone else. Did she loose points because she changed or was it because you think there is something wrong with scientology?
All of the numbers make CPS sound like a system out of control. But really? If your daughter was living with your divorced wife and her new partner this week, the first second you questioned if the new flavor of the week looked at your daughter in an inapproprite manor I bet you would change you tune. CPS might have some over reaching situations but you are condeming a system that, for the most part, saves childrens lives. Way to go!
