Ok I give up on the software part as I have been around the world and I am back to the driver that I started with and the problem is back to the original status. I really never liked the ATI driver any how. I prefer the Nvidia GeForce like I have on the one that I use mostly. I have never had trouble with it or the updates and my comp is 8 years old . The comp with the ATI driver is not even 3 years old yet. Thanks for all of the help people and will let you know in another post wha

I haven't reinstall Windows yet . I ran the sfc/scannow and nothing showed up so I assume it went alright. I did get the Impulse to run for now. The Catalyst ATI control center will still not open or show up in the display properties Every thing is moving like water when you are running the explorer now. I will try reinstalling the controll center today and see what happens.

I have reinstalled windows safely on my 1st comp one time but the second time it reinstalled the whole deal not to my liking but now I know what to expect if it goes wrong now !!!!. I'm not a geek( Loving name for a wizard) although I wish I were! Snowman (My Hero) at least I feel like I don't have Stupid embedded to deep on my forehead. I felt like it was also a windows problem partly. I am on a last resort leg for now as an Industrial Electric
Or maybe something as simple as a loose/defective gfx cable.
I changed the cables and that didn't help but I thought that was a good call to as they were 2nd hand !
That definitely looks like a driver problem.
Ok I downloaded the new driver for the 9800 ( Catalyst ATI) and now I can run it on the high end of the acceleration trouble shooter. But I still have some installing trouble and the ATI Control center will not run as with a few other programs that wil

I took the tower and blew it out with the air hose today but was not much help as far as the problem. In the display properties under setting tab then the advance then the troubleshoot tab. I moved the slider down 3 notches from full on the hardware acceleratio

On the second computer (XP) I have a problem and I have not been able to solve it by myself! Where the transparency should be in the icon background I have what looks like a bar-code thing going on. When I try to use any 3D graphic programs I can see transparency holes all through all of the objects. I have reinstalled the driver (128mb DDR ATI Radeon 9800 Pro) 4 times now and the problem still persist. I have not had any luck searching in the forums for a similar problem. I ha

I figured it out. After looking at the folder bar and found that not to be it. I got to thinking but I should be somewhere close here. I found it to be the second and third pixels in the bottom and top of the tool bar background. So you got me in the right area. Thanks for the help. Now I can get ready to post it. Problem solved [e digicons][/e]

Thanks for showing my Happy Days pic ID. I really appreciate it. Congrats to all. You can tell who didn't get outside and enjoy those fun things you're referring to. Although I did wash my truck Sunday.

Yes that is the only place. I have a 100x100 solid white pic there! Bafuls the heck out of me. The combo box has a blank pic that I am having trouble controlling. I can not find the colors in the change color part of Skin Studio 6 or the Vista color part. So you are seeing the same as I am now Don? Maybe some one who knows the program can install it and find it !

This thing is driving me nuts. I am about ready to post and here I sit. I can't locate the two red colors at the top of the tree background when I open a folder and then click the folder button to view the folder tree. Not even sure when it happened during all the chaos making the WB. If anybody has any ideas, I would sure like to know please. Was going to post the picture but didn't mange to show up. Don't know what I'm doing to tell the truth !! But here is a link to it ! <a href="http

No you don't have to have the morphs to export anything but Daz dose export in OBJ format wich is most commen other then 3D. They are used for variations in the figure and some products do not work without them. But they are not necessary for exporting. The morphs are to enhance the looks of the character that you are working with. There are several hundred characters out there. Most of the character products have a base figure that they work from. But there are many objects to work with also lik

No you don't have to pay for Daz Studio. You get the base models for free but you do have to purchase the morphs for it if you want them. I can send you a list of links to free stuff that you would not believe. It cost me $69.00 a year for Platinum club prices after the initial membership cost. But if you are into 3D modeling as I am it is well worth the price. But you do not have to purchase Daz Studio.Yes some of the prices are high so do like I do just don't buy.You don't have

Try out the Daz Studio from Daz Tailsgirl. Poser is a little on the high side now, I think in the range of $500.00 for the newest version.I think you can get the 7 version for around $249.00 at Smith Micro well I should say Content Paradise. http://www.contentparadise.com/us/user/home.php Daz Studio is still free and imports the same as Poser. They will work together.

Yea I caught the Curvy 3D today. I can't see a whole lot of use for it though. I use 3D modeling programs quite often but I found this on hard to control. I thought it might be a simple tool to use with the programs that I already have. I do use Blender ever so often. You should check out Daz 3D. it is smiler to the Poser program and it is free with membership. I have purchased a membership there as I tend to spend money on models quite often so the saving are rather large at Daz. The main Ch
