perhaps try removing and merging some frames.. obviously this is the majority of the overall filesize. most avi's dont take up 9 mbs of space, i dont think ive ever seen a 15 mb single substyle wb.. anyway, hope this helps, good luck with it.

Trying to figure out how or if u even can use different images for upper \ top taskbar..? I would like to be able to use vertically flipped images on the top taskbar. All i see is one entry for horizontal taskbar not entries for top and bottom. Also, same questions for taskbar button image.. thx in advance. vStyler.

can anyone tell me why when i go to use two different images for PerPixel CAPTION and MAX Caption that they inherit each other? in other words if i try to use a diff image for each item.. they BOTH use whichever image i change. im at my wits end with it..anyone? and it only happens in Per Pixel area. thx in advance. vStyler

Adam assumes in this tutorial that u have a basic understanding of transparency and translucency in SKS and start panel construction. other than his "typo" the tutorial made PERFECT sense to me and imho is written very well. on a side note..congrats Adam on some stunning improvements within the parameters of skinning windows. After spending nearly 6 hours following the tutorial and SWEARING (literally) up and down.. theres NO Enabled attribute where Adam had listed it ..i finally decided to read the comments.. GOOD JOB I DID !!! lol... i must say tho , now that the problem is solved i forgive Adam an occasional typo and am enjoying a KILLER looking Start Menu.
