Having subconscious fantasies does NOT make me a prostitute (as one commenter put it. I never did like him anyway. BLACKLIST for you, you know who you are). If you're referring to me, sorry you didn't see that it was a joke. Maybe it's your hormones.

Up yours, mm.
I should be a pro by now A hooker?
But I would agree that both that one and the many Frankenstein movies do have better remakes than the original I can't agree. The originals had a style and atmosphere that could only come from black and white and little to no music. Actually, Thomas Edison made the first Frankenstein film.<a href="http://www.filmbuffonline.com/Features/Edisons
Baker, the only ones I've seen that you mentioned are Dracula and Cape Fear. I agree with you about Dracula. I don't remember either Cape Fear real well, but I think they're about the same. You reminded me of another one: 1999's A Midsummernight's Dream. Great cast, great music. Mickey Rooney annoyed me in the 1935 version.
You would think the movie studios would get a clue and maybe try to come up with something original. I think the original ideas have pretty much been used.
No. The Wizard of Oz that we know and love was a remake of a previous silent screen version. Wow. 13 minutes. lol. Thanks, GM.
I'm currently listening to King Crimson and Genesis. King Crimson is at the forefront of the newest technology. Favorite genres: Classic Rock, Blues, Jazz, Progressive Rock. I can't stand rap/hip-hop.
I just remembered another one: Ben-Hur.
I would say The Wizard of Oz You mean The Wiz? You must be joking.
Other than that, I'm at a loss, too. Remakes just don't usually match up to the originals. Yeah, I had a feeling this would be a short list.
That's a commn conception, and not entirely untrue. There are a lot of uneducated, redneck truckers. But there are also a lot of others. I am college educated and know many fellow truckers who are as well. I didn't mean to imply that all truckers are rednecks. Just the non-flusher ones.
King Kong - Original Epic! Latest Remake - too long, 70s remake, forget it. The best thing about the first remake was Jessica Lange's tits.
Ocean's 11 I haven't seen either version.
Reply By: Dr. Guy You seem to have read the title of this article "backwards".
The first one that comes to my mind is Dirty Rotten Scoundrels . A remake of Bedtime Story ; 1964 starring David Niven, Marlon Brando and Shirley Jones. (Yes, Shirley Jones from the "Partridge Family.") No, she wasn't the Jackal. Marlon Brando was. Dirty Rotten Scoundrels has a twist. That's the main reason I think it's better. The twist was unexpec

In my line of work I see many public restrooms in truckstops all over. I used to work in an office for a company that had truck drivers. It seems to be a redneck thing. (I'm in the Southeast.)
Talk to her as if you're the person on the other end of the line. Say things like, "Is that so?" "Yeah, I know what you mean."

good manners ARE "simple human decency"!!! NOT special treatment.... Standing when a woman enters the room and don't start eating until they do are special treatment.
No, that seems to be the case when you do it. Some of us are just being polite which is the part you seem incapable of understanding. What's wrong with flirting?
Men are more devious than I first anticipated. We have to be to keep up with women.
When I hold the door for a 90 year old hunchback woman, I am NOT making an offer of "dick". I just wanted to clarify. Are you that shallow? When you hold a door for someone who might have trouble with it, tha
