maby if you can decline victory? if you win by cultural victory, and you get popup window "you have won by cultural victory, end game? yes/no", so if you click "no", you get the chance to mop up...

when you spend those points, you are "customising" default race, if you want to play it default just do nothing with it and play! if you spend some of those points, you lose some of their default abilities to compensate because they are not bonus points, they are customise-points
search this forum a little more, I'm sure that i saw atleast 3 more posts like yours, all you have to do is to disable your second processor core, and it works nice, I'm also pretty sure that it will be fixed very soon with a patch... can someone describe him how to easily disable second processor core, i don't have two-cores processor... <img src="htt
I have calculated this, and by calculations, if morale is 100, then you substract all the penalties, and then you add all of the bonuses, the number is correct; but why do you only have 27% from buildings on the planet? Hmmm...maybe people got bored of that kind of entertainment and want something new, it's like cinema and television in real life, 30 to 60 years ago it was a big hit and people was realy happy about it, but now, it's a featur
Actually there is a way to play hot-seat in the released version. But it's unofficial. I'll talk to the team on how to officially document it. you don't actualy need to document it, for now, it will be suffitient just to tell us how to do it, and document it later...<img src="http://images.stardock.co
1. possible cheat warning icon: did you played metaverse ceritified map, or it was a random map? I don't know (didn't play galciv2 yet, no $... ), but i believe that you can only upload pre-created, ceritified maps on metaverse... 2.crash to desktop when clicked on quit button... that has allready been reported by someone, i believe that it will be fixed s
upload that save somewhere on the internet (where you can get free web space or something like that), and here you post a link to that save. Developers are probably sleeping, so they are not able to help you right now, but as soon as they come to work, they can download your save and see what's wrong...
Torturous? Heh...me and a buddy of mine frequently play hotseat Alpha Centauri and MoO 2. To avoid the moving-about procedure described above we implement a cunning system of 2 chairs and 2 sets of mouse\keyboard well, in heroes III, we somethimes have 4 chairs (if there is 4 of us) and there is no n
I just wanted to ask, what about hotseat mode? It can't be so hard to implement hotseat, it is a turn based game, is it? There is still one game, one very old game (LOL) that me and my friends still play togeather when we hang out at my house, and that's Heroes of Might and Magic III. There's only one reason for that: hotseat! I also remember the times when every day after school i ra
ftn49, you're gonna sooo loose, but you're gonna play it for 10 hours, and then you're gonna loose, and then you will be mad, very mad... i think you should try few tiny or medium galaxy size maps, to get a hang of it...
if you realy enjoy your game, and then some raly bad random thing happens, you simply load some autosave, and it wont happen again, will it?
you realy think it wasn't considered by developers when they were designing the game? it would be way too powerful, nobody would give ships to noone because of that, noone would even trade ships becaouse of that, and cultural victory would be too popular, other aspects of the game would become mariginalised, some people would not even research technologies that their neigbor have etc...
hmm.. let us take a look at it; weapon 4 vs armor 4 --> lvl 0: roll of 0-4 damage VS 0-4 armor; damage would be done 50% of the time (when damage roll is higher than armor roll), and 0-4 damage would be done lvl 4: damage of 2 VS 0-4 armor; damage would be also done 50% of the time, and damage of 0-2 would be done... and if armor would be "enhanced" by thism it would be 2vs2 and damage would never be done,
Iz Varazdina sam, tu je bilo puno snijega do prije mjesec dana. Sad pada kisa... It is rude to speak on foreign language so here's translation: I'm from Varazdin, it was wery much snow here, untill last month. It's raining now...
As fleet size is reduced, and there are fewer ships involved in battle, I would like that the most important of my ships have some important people aboard that would give some bonuses (well, all of the ships, but they would have the staff automaticly...) ADMIRAL: command of the whole fleet, you could (and would) assign admiral on big ship in the group where you have one big and a lot of small ships, and ALL of them would gain bonuses because
colony ship, troop transport... you name it... Does Colony ship here still have unlimited transporting capabilities like in galciv1?
CROATIA (hey, neigbours, looks like Americans are still sleeping), I'm a student who currently can't afford this game, but I intend to buy it as soon as I get the money! Those guys need to be payed for their work, as I would like to be payed when i finish college, and not some &$%kers stealing my work and distribute it for free! Sorry for bad spelling... </font
Quote: "A true parsec is 3.26 light years" So, if I'm right, when you travel one parsec in one week (hmmm, just say that one year have 52 weeks, then: 3.36 light years * 52 = 160.52 light weeks), you travel around 170 times faster than light! Well, that's fast... so, when your transport movet 34 parsecs per turn (turn is one week?), it moved (170
