Hi all After 12 months on Win 7, I decided I missed all the great old skins of the past (some don't display perfectly on 7). Bought a second-hand PC with XP & enough grunt to run OD properly & was immediately back in the 90s & 00s. No offence to current skinners but the 'skinability' then just made the skins so much more interesting. Since I bought most of the cool skins then I can now enjoy them again - thanks to all skinners then & now!

Whenever I change a dock background to something with colour it stays a shade of grey or black - first time I've experience this. Any suggestions as to a remedy would be appreciated. Win 7 home premium 32 bit SP1

OK, Wizard, I'll try that with the Premium suites I have. Sorry about the delay. As far as what works, well in my case it won't change anything, just reverts to WB Classic. If Theme Manager will only change part of the theme then it defeats its own purpose - don't get me wrong, I love it, just wished it worked.

Dave, this may not be the problem but it seems to be in line with Jafo's suggestion above. I have a new pc built at a computer shop. It took me a while to realise that if I pressed too hard on the start button, the pc wouldn't start or started but with an error message about the bios being corrupt. It then restored the bios & continued starting up. However, if I very lightly touched the start button the pc started up normally.

Great to read you 'pros' toing & froing about the pros & cons of 7 & Vista - good stuff. I'm not an expert, but I know what I like. After trying 7, I have found it less user-friendly than I anticipated so have gone back to XP (never tried Vista due to bad publicity & some bad experience from family members) so I can have the benefit of all the great old skins of the past as well as Rightclick. I do wish someone could update Iconpackager as well - seems to be suffer

Being in my 60's I don't listen much to modern music. However, I'd like to thank PoSmedley for introducing me to the wonderful voice of Adele - sensational, not in a hyped, celebrity way, just a great voice.

All of a sudden Iconpackager seems to be acting up. I have been getting this error message when changing packages. Also the icons don't appear in the preview panel. I have un & re-installed the application to no avail. Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated. (winxp pro sp3) "error loading cache .dll file. Please reinstall the application to correct this problem" NB: I seem to have fixed the problem by uninstalling with Revo

Many thanks DaveRI - starting to get the hang of it - it actually makes my options as limited as my imagination!

I hope I'm in the right section for this & apologize in advance if there are pages of posts for my question, which is: How do I put my own textures into WB? Do they have to be .tga format? Any advice is appreciated.

G'day all I'm just posting this to plead with someone at WC to convince Mormegil to re-release his fantastic PixOS suite. It was the skin that got me interested in customization & it's still one of the best suites ever produced. Will gladly purchase as a master suite. Good luck!

Skinhit - what a damn shame, we've lost a beauty! Still, I've got all your IPs so my pc won't suffer. Zubaz, Vamp & others - I for one appreciate the work & commitment that goes into your work - keep it up. Tycus - great icons!
