Reply to Start Menu fix for Object Dock in ObjectDock WinCustomize Forums

Personally do not use the START Menu that much, however when I do need it I just use the windows key and it pops right up, it is nice eye candy for Object Dock but really not truly necessary. Even with you start bar hidden using the windows Key brings the start menu up. I do not know is it possible to create a shortcut to the windows key on your keybaoard?

Yes I would like to see IE 8 completly skinnable, not sure that can be done. However what can be done currently is pay attention to the font color in IE 8 on the menues as a lot of skinners use gey or white against IE 8 default light blue which makes it unreadable. I would like to see 3D frame around the menu items in IE 8. See the BlackCream Skin to see an example of what I am talking about. Also a Transparency button on title bar see Capt America skin for an example of what I am tal

N0 but you can select one of three default colours blue silver or black. Go to the office icon upper left corner of MS Word 2007 or 2010 or you can use Excel. click it select word options at the bottom of page open it and then you can select color scheme for office 2007, this also works for 2010 beta. This will change the the color scheme, for all the office programs word, excel, publisher and outlook.

To the skin makers in Skinning WinCustomize Forums

There is one or two other items I would like to see in a Vista/W7 skin. Up where the minimize restore and close buttons button. Me to I really like the latest version it uses what are called personas, and it changes them on the fly without re-starting FF when loading from the persona FF site. Right now I am using the solid gold persona. You if desired can create your own persona.

This is a really neat feature I have created numerous textures, I have also created them for Explorer back grounds The next thing I would like to see on a Friday is a set of meaning or instruction for changing the system colours. Most are very self explanatory but some are confusing as to what they change such as skin colour foucsed, normal default as examples (see Image below)

Here is my current destop as you can see I use Winsteps Next start for start bar colours modified by me. My WB as you can see is Armaggdon. I use fences to hide most of my Icons. As of Today 2-25-10 I was still getting this error on the beta site when I tried to edit a comment EDIT; I tried to edit a comment and also got an error (a large gray window over the comment with please wait in the center) on the beta site.

Did you put the whole exe there or a short cut just create short for object dock copy it and place the short cut in the Start folder Start folder can be also found by going to the all programs on start menu and scrolling down until you find start folder and if you have copied the the shrt cut just highlight start and right click and select paste If that does not work e-mail support as suggested in the above post
